(Clearwisdom.net) Taipei, Taiwan - On February 25th, the Divine Performing Arts (DPA) Company arrived in Taiwan, beginning a 37-show run in 6 cities.

Many Mainland Chinese in Taiwan had the opportunity to attend the shows. The DPA artists showcased 5,000 years of traditional Chinese culture that represented pure beauty and pure compassion.

Mr. Guo, a painter from China, was at the show on the evening of February 26.

He enjoyed the show tremendously and gave his impression in one word, "Beautiful."

For Mr. Guo, the choreography, stage design, and backdrop were perfect and unique.

Chinese Painter: "True Beauty Touches People's Hearts and Conquers Everything"

Mr. Guo shared the reason why the show made such an impact on him. For him, the scenes in the show revived traditional culture in a picture-perfect way for the first time since the Chinese Communist Party had slowly eradicated it.

He said, "Chinese culture is very rich and there are many legends. It is not easy for DPA to bring out the true spirit of Chinese culture."

Mr. Guo was impressed as the scenes in the show were based on traditional culture and yet one could see new creations representing modern learning. For example, Mulan's story was presented within just a few minutes, and her bravery, gentleness, loyalty, and filial duty were shown through the art form.

Mr. Guo is a stage designer in China. He said that people can't ignore beauty. He called attention to the "Mongolian Chopsticks" dance and joked that audience members almost wanted to dance with the pretty girls on the vast Mongolian prairie in time with the amazing rhythm of the chopsticks. As for the compassion shown by Falun Gong practitioners, Mr. Guo said that the audience could feel the justice inherent in the depiction of the scenes.

In Mr. Guo's understanding, art affects the human spirit. After watching the performance, he felt exhilarated and the pressures of his job had disappeared. He was especially impressed by alto singer Yang Jiansheng's immense range.

Mr. Guan Guimin's singing brought back old memories of 20 to 30 years ago when Mr. Guan performed with his ensemble. Mr. Guo said it was a most memorable moment hearing this Chinese treasure sing again.

Mr. Guo expressed a thought echoed by many, "True beauty touches people's hearts and conquers everything." The style that DPA has developed nourishes people's hearts.

Chinese from Mainland China: "I feel there are deities existing in the universe."

Mr. Chen, a visitor from Hubei, China, bought tickets for the DPA show for himself and a friend from China.

Mr. Chen had been in Taiwan for less than 2 months. He was very interested in the backdrops. He felt every scene was genuine and a truly pleasant surprise.

About "Monk Ji Gong Abducts the Bride," "The Miraculous Exhibit," and "Knowing the True Picture Offers Ultimate Hope," which depicted gods and Buddhas,

Mr. Chen said, "Those programs made me feel that there are gods in heaven. The Falun Dafa practitioners and dancers' costumes were beautiful."

When he saw four people dressed in black with the pattern of a sickle and ax on their backs in "Persecuted on a Sacred Path," he laughed and said, "That must be the Communist Party!"

Mr. Chen shared, "I have a relative who practices Falun Gong. He's still practicing and he has been arrested and persecuted. In Mainland China people have to practice secretly."

When he learned that there are people throughout the world who are learning Falun Gong, Mr. Chen said he would use this opportunity to learn this practice.

The two Mainland visitors discussed quietly each of the scenes and sometimes sang quietly along with the singers. They had high praise for the dynamic backdrops. This time during his Taiwan visit, Mr. Chen not only saw the DPA show, but also quit the Chinese Communist Party. He said excitedly, "This trip really represents a harvest for me."

Mainland Chinese from Hubei Province: Proud to be Chinese

Miss Li from Hubei Province told reporters excitedly before leaving for home, "This was the first time for me to see such a high level performance. I was really moved. I had read about many of these stories, but I never imagined that they could be shown in a performance through dance and the arts."

Miss Li was touched deeply by "Mulan Joins the Battle." She said, "When I was young I read about Mulan, but I never imagined dance could tell the story so well."

She continued, "I really enjoyed the DPA show. I am proud our Chinese have so many excellent talents. I love our heavenly culture."
