Three Practitioners, Including Lu Xianzhi and Her Daughters-in-Law Arrested in Ningjin County, Shangdong Province

April 9, 2009

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Lu Xianzhi and her two daughters-in-law from Ningjin County, Shandong Province, were arrested by Ningjin County police on March 17, 2009.

Ms. Lu Xianzhi is 69 years old, and a resident of Liwan Village in Chengguan Town, Ningjin Country. On the morning of March 17, when she was clarifying the truth about Falun Gong, she was arrested by the Ningjin County police. Police Chief Yao Liguo, along with other officers, barged into Ms. Lu's house. They ransacked it and took Falun Gong books and truth-clarifying materials. They also arrested her daughters-in-laws, Ms. Li Junhua, 40, and Liu Jinshuang, 41, who are also practitioners.

In Ms. Lu Xianzhi's family, 13 family members have practiced Falun Gong since 1997, and all have achieved physical well being and recovered from their illnesses. They have also improved their mental and spiritual states of mind. The entire family was harmonious and they rarely bickered or quarreled with one another. They were well off and living happily together. The whole village praised them as a model family.

After the Chinese Communist Party started to publicly persecute Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, Lu Xianzhi's family suffered cruel persecution. She was sent to brainwashing centers twice and was incarcerated for a year in a forced labor camp. Both her sons and one daughter-in-law were also imprisoned once in a forced labor camp. The whole family has had to endure a great deal of physical and emotional pain.
