May 29, 2009

(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of March, 30, 2009, Ms. Xue Li, a practitioner from Guangyuan City, Sichuan province, was arrested by officers from the Meixi Township Police Station, Lou District, Yueyang City. She has now been transferred to the local procuratorial agency, who are attempting to sentence her to prison.

Ms. Xue Li's sister-in-law went to see Jiang Chao, the head of the Domestic Security Division, to clarify the truth about Falun Gong to him, and request that he does not persecute a good person. But Jiang Chao refused to listen and handed Ms. Xue Li's documents over to the Procuratorate.

In March 5, 2008, Ms. Xue Li's brother, Mr. Xue Zhongyi, also a practitioner and worked in Yueyang City, Hunan Province, was arrested by Jiang Chao, Fu Wei, Tang Jianmin and other police officers. They ransacked his home and left his wife alone with their 5-year-old child. Mr. Xue Zhongyi's wife and sister, Xue Li, had to leave their families and go to the Police Station, Procuratorial Agency and Court in order to rescue him. Ms. Xue Li had to leave her mother, who is over 90 years old, and two children at home to go to Yueyang City to try to rescue Xue Zhongyi.

Ms. Xue Li worked at a restaurant, which was owned by Jiang Chao's wife's uncle, so she had clarified the truth about Falun Gong to Jiang Chao and Fu Wei many times. In October 2008, Ms. Xue Li was arrested and detained at the Hubin Detention Center for 10 days. In December 2008, Mr. Xue Zhongyi was sentenced to three years in prison. And, in February 2009, Mr. Xue Zhongyi was moved to the Jin City Prison, in Hunan Province, for further persecution.

After Ms. Xue Li was arrested, on May 7, 2009, her sister-in-law went to the Lou District Police Station to see Jiang Chao. Fu Wei saw her and ordered four police officers to stop her. Two of them left after listening to the truth about Falun Gong, but another two police offers dragged her from the seventh floor down to the ground floor and told the on-duty police officer that she was not allowed upstairs in the future.
