(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 6 provinces. In this report, 13 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 11 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Hejian, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhao Tielun Has Been Tortured at the Jidong Prison for a Long Time and His Situation is Urgent
2. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Qin Zhengfang Arrested
Ms. Qin Zhengfang, 51 years old, lives on Heping Road, Suining City. At 10:00 a.m. on May 31, 2009, Ms. Qin was arrested in front of the building she lives in and her home was searched. The police took away a computer, a printer, Dafa books and 500 yuan in cash.
3. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Li Hui and His Wife Wang Hua Arrested
On April 16, 2009, Wang De from the National Security Team of the Gongzhuling City Police Department, Li Zhanjun from the Yihetun Police Station and about a dozen other policemen broke into the home of Mr. Li Hui. They took away a TV, a satellite dish, some cash and other property. Mr. Li and his wife Wang Hua were arrested. Now Wang Hua is being detained in the Yitong County Detention Center.

5. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Xi Lili Sentenced to Four Years in Prison
On August 1, 2009, Ms. Xi Lili was taken away by Zhang Xianli from the Shijiazhuang City National Security Team while she was waiting for her insurance customer at the entrance to the Second Division of Shifu. Zhang Xianli interrogated Ms. Xi using torture. Ms. Xi was shackled to an iron chair and was subjected to sleep deprivation. Later on, she was sent to the Shijiazhuang First Detention Center.
Later on, Ms. Xi's case was transferred to the Yuhua District Court. The court sentenced her to two years in prison and then the case was submitted to the Shijiazhuang Intermediate Court. The court changed the original decision and sentenced Xi Lili to four years in prison.
6. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Shufen and Ms. Zhang Shujie Arrested
On the night of May 30, 2009, Ms. Zhang Shufen and her sister Ms. Zhang Shujie were taken to the Anshan First Detention Center.
7. [Hejian, Hebei Province] Information about the Persecution of Ms. Wang Zhenying and Ms. Yang Guihua
On the night of April 3, 2009, Ms. Wang Zhenying and Ms. Yang Guihua were reported to the police while they were distributing fliers abut Falun Gong in Gaowanghua Village, Zunzuzhuang Township. They were arrested by the Zunzuzhuang Police Station and sent to the Hejian Police Department.
About one month later, through their families' rescue efforts, they were released after paying 3,000 yuan.
8. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province[ Many Falun Dafa Practitioners Harassed and Arrested
On the morning of April 10, 2009, the Hongshan District of Wuhan City planned to try Ms. Hu Huifang, Ms. Chen Man and Ms. Zhou Xiaojun. Several hundred policemen questioned the people who went to attend the trial. Twenty-seven Falun Dafa practitioners were arrested.
9. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Recent Information about Mr. Zhou Yonghui
On the night of April 23, 2008, about a dozen policemen pried open the door to the home of 59-year-old Mr. Zhou Yonghui and took her away. They also took away a copy machine, two fast printers, three big paper cutters, three big staplers, about 60 boxes of paper, more than ten boxes of CDs, a TV, DVD player, and more than 1,000 yuan cash.
Ms. Zhou Yonghui has been sentenced to 11 years in prison.
10. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Tang Xuchang Sentenced to 18 Months in Prison

At 9:00 a.m. on June 1, 2009, Ms. Zhang Lanxiang and Ms. Rongrong, from Hanshan District, were arrested when they went out. Now they are being detained in the Handan Second Detention Center.
12. [Shanghai City] Additional Information about the Arrest of Ms. Li Shuqin
Ms. Li Shuqin is a retired teacher of the Shanghai Second Medical School. Around April 22, 2009, she was arrested. It is now said now that she has been sentenced to 18 months in a forced labor camp.
13. [Wanzhou City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Huang Yonggui Sent to Forced Labor Camp
On May 11, 2009, police from the Beichuan Police Station deceived Mr. Huang Yonggui into going to the police station to take back his computer, which was confiscated when his home was searched. Mr. Huang Yonggui believed them and went to the police station to take back the computer. He was arrested by police and sent to the local drug rehabilitation center for persecution. Two weeks later, Mr. Huang was sent to the Shaba Forced Labor Camp in Chongqing City for a 15-month term.

On the morning of May 30, 2009, Ms. Liu Xiangxin from Dadukou District, Chongqing City, was reported to police when she went out to distribute fliers about Falun Gong. She was arrested by officers from the Jiugongmiao Police Station. Ms. Liu is now detained in the Dadukou District Detention Center.
16. [Anqiu City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhou Shufen Severely Persecuted by the Anqiu National Security Police
On April 15, 2009, Ms. Zhou Shufen from Xingshan Village, Wangjia Town, Anqiu City was reported to police while she was distributing fliers about Falun Gong in Shidui. She was arrested by police from the Shidui Police Station. Li Shenghua from the Anqiu National Security Team along police from the Shidui Police Station, went to search Ms. Zhou's home. They took away Dafa books, fliers about Falun Gong, two tape recorders, an MP3 player, a VHS player and 300 yuan cash.
On April 16, 2009, Ms. Zhou was sent to the Anqiu Brainwashing Center. At the center, eight guards took turns watching her, not allowing her to sleep. On April 22, Li Shenghua sent Ms. Zhou to the Anqiu Detention Center where she was tortured for five days. She was on the verge of death. On April 27, Ms. Zhou was finally sent back home.
