(Clearwisdom.net) After hearing Falun Gong practitioners' appeal to disintegrate the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and stop the persecution in recent years, some people have asked, "If the CCP stops persecuting Falun Gong, will Falun Gong still cause the CCP to disintegrate?"
If this question were asked during the beginning several years of the persecution, the answer would of course be, "It is not necessary to disintegrate the CCP." However, this question has now become meaningless because people have already clearly seen that the CCP will not stop the persecution of Falun Gong as long as it continues in power.
Right after the Communist regime started its all-out persecution of Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, practitioners repeatedly wrote to Party leaders to clarify the truth about Falun Gong. They went to the concerned government branches to tell the leaders how they had benefited from practicing Falun Gong. They also went to Tiananmen Square to unfurl banners stating "Falun Dafa is Good."
With the persecution continuing unabated, practitioners later took steps to expose the crimes of Jiang Zemin and his accomplices (Luo Gan, Liu Jing, and Zhou Yongkang) and demand that they be brought to justice for their crimes. They also started preparing and distributing materials that exposed the Party's lies and cruel tortures. They tapped into television broadcasts. Falun Gong practitioners in different regions outside China went to the Chinese Embassies, Consulates, and the United Nations to make peaceful appeals. They have also used many other means to make the regime leaders aware of the facts, ask them to correct their mistakes in a timely fashion, punish the main perpetrators, and stop the persecution.
Falun Gong practitioners, who follow the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in their cultivation, wanted to give the regime more chances to correct its mistakes. However, the Party continued to persecute Falun Gong brutally. Besides fabricating more lies in its slanderous propaganda, the communist regime also mobilized the whole country's resources to push the persecution into every realm of society. From its education policy of using elementary school textbooks to instill its lies into the minds of children to its diplomatic policy of using economic benefits as bribery and lures to keep various countries' officials and businessmen silent; from its illegally detaining, brainwashing, cruelly torturing, and even killing Falun Gong practitioners to its using the Policy of Implication to force the leaders and members of the practitioners' work units as well as their family members to collude with the regime to persecute Falun Gong practitioners; and from the staged "Tiananmen Square Self-Immolation" to stir people's hatred to the unprecedented crime of harvesting organs from live Falun Gong practitioners for profit, the Party has dug itself into a hole it can no longer escape from. It has thus tightly tied its fate to the persecution of Falun Gong. It even seems to some that the purpose of the CCP's existence is to sustain the persecution of Falun Gong. Therefore, stopping the persecution means exposing the Party's crimes, the collapse of the CCP, as well as trials prosecuting the regime's crimes, and thus elimination of the Party.
As the CCP has gone to this extreme, it would be a foolish person's dream to expect the Party to now stop the persecution of Falun Gong. If one wants to stop the persecution, one must disintegrate the Communist Party. The Communist Party has brought about its own collapse while persecuting Falun Gong. The publication of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party on November 19, 2004 occurred exactly under this circumstance of persecution. Its publication has thus resulted in the great tide of "Three Withdrawals" (renouncing membership from the Party and its affiliate organizations) among people in China.
In March 2009 the Council of Foreign Relations, a well-known think-tank in the U.S., published the article, "China's Mixed Record on Human Rights." In this article, the Council asked, among the various sensitive issues, what issue the Party has placed as most important. The article mentioned that, to the CCP, regardless of how it lists these issues, "(Falun Gong) would be at the top of any list." So even Westerners have clearly seen how the CCP has taken Falun Gong as its number one enemy. However, Western people can hardly understand why this is the case; the authors of the article used the term "ridiculous reasons" to explain the evil Party's ridiculous acts.
The Communist Party has pushed Falun Gong practitioners, with force, into the position of being the regime's number one enemy. This has also determined that the persecution can be stopped only through disintegration of the Communist Party.
