(Clearwisdom.net) On July 20, 2009, Falun Gong practitioner Cui Junchen and his daughter Cui Linyan from Caotun Village, Haowangzhuang Town, Wucheng County, Shandong Province were arrested, and their home was ransacked. Currently, both of them are being detained in the Wucheng County Detention Center. Over the past ten years, Cui Junchen and his family have been subjected to repeated arrests, detention and fines. The following is a brief summary of the persecution lthat Mr. Cui and his family have suffered.
In July 1999, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started to persecute Falun Gong. Cui Junchen, Cui's wife, and mother were arrested and detained for over ten days.
In 2000, Cui Junchen and his mother were arrested by the Wucheng County Police and detained in the Wucheng County Detention Center. Cui's motorcycle was stolen by Wucheng County Police Station police officer Zhang Ruijun.
In 2001, Cui Junchen was put into Wangcun Labor Camp of Zibo City, Shandong Province by Wucheng County Police Station. Timber worth hundreds of thousands of yuan at his home were all taken away, and only Cui's 70-year-old mother and his wife were left to take care of two young children. Without a steady income, they depended on relatives and friends to survive, and ran up a large debt.
After Cui Junchen got out of the labor camp, the police from Haowangzhuang Police Substation, CCP officials in the town government, and Zhang Ruijun from the Wucheng County Police Station frequently harassed him at his home.
In the fall of 2006, Zhang Ruijun and others suddenly rushed into Cui Junchen's home, startling and greatly frightening Mr. Cui's elderly mother. This, plus several years of suffering from the stress of the persecution, led to her death a few days later. Before the persecution, she did the Falun Gong exercises and maintained pretty good health.
During the 2008 Olympics, Cui Junchen, his wife, and his daughter were arrested by officers from the Wucheng County Police Station. Their laptop, printer, and other belongings were confiscated by the police. All three of them were detained in the Wucheng County Detention Center. After Zhao Jun, Director of the Wucheng County Police Station, forced him to pay 16,000 yuan, Cui and his daughter were released. However, Cui's wife Chen Honghui was sent away for 18 months at the First Women's Labor Camp in Shandong Province.
Zhao Jun, Liu Mingtai, Zhang Ruijun, and Wang Dongren are police officers at the Wucheng County Police Station. They have threatened to send Falun Gong practitioners to forced labor camps, and every Falun Gong practitioner has had moeny extorted by them, from several thousand yuan to upwards of ten to twenty thousand yuan. These police officers force the families of Falun Gong practitioners to deposit large amounts of money to the bank account of the police station, without any kind of legal documentation. The money was then embezzled and spent by these officers. The main person in charge of the local persecution was Wang Yinghua, the CCP Committee Secretary of Wucheng County.
