The police claimed that it was routine "official business." They told her family to sign an official document after searching through her house. Her family refused to comply. According to unofficial information, Ms. Zhou is being held in the Tienhe District Detention Center. The government agencies involved in the raid were the Tienhe District Security Office, the police station on Changxing Street in the Tienhe District, and the Xingke Community Resident Committee of the Guangzhou Nonferrous Metals Research Institute.
Ms. Zhou, 45 years old, is a respected teacher in Guangzhou City. She won second place in the national teaching thesis competition and also won the award for excellence in the Guangdong provincial competition for her writing about teaching. In an independent study exam, her students scored the highest in the school. She was also well respected by her colleagues and loved by her students.

Her health gradually improved, and she gained weight, going from 77 pounds to 110 pounds. She was full of energy for life and work. She increased her teaching schedule from six classes to 28 classes and became a director. She held a high standard for herself and was well liked by her students, who praised her semester after semester.
The Communist Party police arrested and detained a teacher held in high regard because she explained the benefits of becoming a Falun Dafa practitioner. She only wanted everyone to be good.
