Inner Mongolia Women's Forced Labor Camp Intensifies Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioners

Aug. 17, 2009 |   By a Minghui Correspondent in Inner Mongolia

(Clearwisdom.net) The Third Brigade of the Inner Mongolian Women's Forced Labor Camp has illegally detained Falun Dafa practitioners. Since 2008, many practitioners there have developed high blood pressure, uneven heartbeats, nausea, chest pains, vomiting, or fainting, and some are even terminally ill. Because of this, the entire group of practitioners there launched a strike to protest the ill treatment.

The two current heads of the brigade, Chang Hong and Huang Xuhong (both of them have been on the on Minghui/Clearwisom website's list of evil persecutors), intensified the persecution. Two male guards, who always take handcuffs with them wherever they go, assisted.

The practitioners were locked up in a room and made to watch a video defaming Falun Dafa. At one point, practitioner Ms. Li Guiyun had chest pains and nausea and wanted to step out of the room to get some fresh air, but she was not allowed to and had to remain in the room.

Practitioners were also forced to attend a "class" session taught by the head of the management section, Yuan Mengqin. In the session, Yuan talked all sorts of nonsense with a thick book in her hand that defamed Falun Dafa and documented the policies and methods used by the Inner Mongolian authorities to persecute Falun Gong.

When practitioners Ms. Liang Lifen, Kang Dongqing, and Zhao Yan stood up to stop what was going on, they were handcuffed by two prison guards and put into solitary cells.

In addition, Yuan Mengqin shocked Ms. Liang Lifen's mouth and back with an electric baton. Ms. Liang, who is 28 and very slight, has remained silent, and has not cooperated with the authorities since her arrest. Before she was sent to this forced labor camp, she was previously detained in the ninth brigade of Beijing's dispatch unit, as well as in the Hohhot City Women's Forced Labor Camp of Inner Mongolia, where she was subjected to various tortures, including sleep deprivation, denied use of a restroom, and being beating by the inmates who were incited by prison guards.
