What I Learned from Distributing Flyers and Clarifying the Truth

1. Focused on Saving Sentient Beings

In June I had some conversations with fellow practitioners. Practitioner A said that someone asked her whether she had distributed a flyer at that location and she said no. Practitioner B told me about a similar event. Someone asked her whether she had distributed flyers at a certain location. She said, "Don't ask who distributed flyers here. It is done for your benefit. It is for saving you." That person replied, "You are right." The difference in thinking is significant.

I made a similar mistake once. When I bought tofu using a bill with truth-clarifying statements on it, the seller asked, "Did you write on this bill?" I said, "No." He said, " I don't want this bill. Could you give me another one?"

One time I was talking to my hairdresser and she told me, "I have received many Falun Gong flyers, but I do not read them. My neighbors also do not read them." I told her that these flyers were produced with the personal savings from all practitioners. The purpose was to save all sentient beings. When I paid her 4 yuan, she said only 3 yuan were needed, because she also wanted to help with our truth-clarification.

My experience indicated that further improvements were needed in clarifying the truth. We must advise people to read the flyers regardless of what they think. I believe that this way is helpful to them and will also reduce the number of flyers wasted.

2. To Pick up a Discarded Flyer is Another Way to Save Sentient Beings

I was riding my bicycle on my way home when I saw a flyer on the ground and several people were sitting near it. I stepped down from my bike, picked up the flyer and smiled at the people, implying that this flyer was valuable and it was something to treasure. From then on I have not seen flyers discarded along that route. Some fellow practitioners said, "I only pick up flyers when there is no one around." I think picking up flyers in front of people shows that the flyer is valuable and hence has the effect of saving them.

3. Master is Reminding His Disciples All the Time

After meeting with a fellow practitioner, I felt I was unfairly treated and was holding onto a bad mood. It was around 9:00 p.m. and I was pushing my bicycle on a slippery road, when I heard two girls talking, "A believer in Buddhism! How strange!" I immediately woke up and all my grudges were gone.

This is all I have to say. Please point out anything that is improper.
