Going to extremes to carry out the persecution
Although Lily has not been tortured because of her belief in Falun Gong, she has a deep understanding of the evil nature of the persecution.
"Throughout its history, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has fabricated lies and framed its enemies. Since July 20, 1999, it has been broadcasting so-called "essential" news every night, often targeting Falun Gong. For example, it claimed that Yao Jie and Li Chang collected money. I have had close contact with both of them. What the CCP said is pure lies. Li Chang is an official in the public security department. He always rides his bike to work. He and his family lived in an apartment with two bedrooms and one living room. As for Yao Jie, she does not even have an apartment and she lives in her father's house. We know these facts to be true.
"There are Falun Gong practitioners in every work unit. How they treat others and how they behave is obvious to everyone. The CCP claimed that Falun Gong was bad, but they realized that this wasn't enough to convince people, so they go to absurd but evil extremes. One example is the fabricated "Tiananmen self-immolation." It controlled all the media to slander Falun Gong. People want to relax and watch TV at the end of the day. However, every channel badmouths Falun Gong. People are fed up. The CCP knows that the persecution couldn't continue, so they staged the self-immolation incident. In fact, many local residents in Beijing know the truth. When do you ever see policemen in Tiananmen square carry fire extinguishers while on duty? They never do. But of course, they did for the so-called "self immolation." The CCP goes to such extreme lengths to poison people's minds and turn them against Falun Gong."
Party members are all victims
Lily's in-laws were the first group of diplomatic officials after the establishment of the CCP. They were attacked and persecuted in 1958. During the Cultural Revolution, they asked Lily to quit the CCP. Lily realized many things from her family's experience, "My in-laws were victims of the CCP movement. Although my major is social sciences, I still don't understand why the person in power always wants to subvert the previous one. It is either leftism or rightism. This has always been my question in my study. Later I got the answer when I read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. The CCP focuses on struggle-struggling not only with outsiders but also with each other. The next person in power must fight the previous one. The CCP is like a big machine. Once you join, you automatically become part of the machine and eventually become the victim of the system. Even if you made it through the struggles and movements in the internal fights, Heaven will not let you escape. The CCP has committed too many crimes and Heaven will eliminate it."
When Wen Jiabao and a large Chinese delegation visited New York City, Lily and many fellow practitioners quietly stood in front of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel where Wen stayed. Lily wore a yellow shirt with the words "Falun Dafa Is Good" printed on it. They were trying to wake up every Chinese who still has a conscience.
"Every year, we have been giving Chinese officials opportunities to learn the truth and quit the CCP. The CCP kidnapped all of its members. However, there are still some people with conscience among its members. Falun Gong practitioners take every opportunity to let them know that their silence is helping the evil. In 1999, Jiang Zemin was the only one who was against Falun Gong. How come the persecution started? It was because the Political Bureau gave in. If everyone had a basic common ground regarding what is right or wrong, this persecution would have never happened. We hope that they will choose wisely in the final moment, for their own good. It is Heaven's principle that good will be repaid with good and evil will be repaid with evil. Everyone knows this.
"Our voices will touch them. They are human beings after all. Deep inside, their lives were created with Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance."
