(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 24 cities or counties in ten provinces. In this report, 21 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 39 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Manzhouli City, Inner Mongolia] Many Practitioners Followed and Harassed
On September 28, 2010, police officers from Manzhouli City, arrested Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhang Yu's daughter who does not practice Falun Gong. Recently, they interrogated the source, trying to find the photo of police officers who arrested Mr. Zhang Yu, an episode that was reported on Minghui/Clearwisdom. Many practitioners who once protected Mr. Zhang's daughter have been monitored and harassed.
2. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Xiuying Arrested
On the morning of October 28, 2010, Ms. Li Xiuying was reported when she was clarifying the truth. She is now being held in the Third Detention Center.
3. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Wenying Arrested and Held in a Brainwashing Center
Ms. Wang Wenying from the Jiguan District Court in Jixi City was arrested by officers from the Jiguan District 610 Office, the Jixi City 610 Office, and Director Wang of the court. Her family went to get her released and was told that she was in a brainwashing center.
4. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yu Jinghua Arrested Two Days after Returning Home
At 8:00 p.m., on October 26, 2010, Ms. Yu Jinghua, in her 40s, from Wangxingtun Village, Songshan Town, in Nanzhanxin District of Jinzhou City, was arrested by officers from the Songshan Town Police Station just two days after she returned home from out of town. She had previously stayed away from home to avoid being arrested. Her whereabouts are unknown.
5. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Information about Practitioners Arrested
Officers from Benxi City Domestic Security Division, along with police, arrested Falun Gong practitioners in Benxi City on October 28, 2010. The following practitioners were arrested: Mr. Wen Qianyou, from Beitai, was arrested at home; Ms. Liu Chunfang was arrested at home by officers from the city Domestic Security Division and Jinshan Police Station at her home in Xinlitun. Practitioners in Xinlitun were arrested, including Ms. Cheng Jing, Ms. Xie Lixue, Ms. Liu, and Ms. Li Jie. Mr. Wu Chengjun from Beidi was arrested where he worked at the Center for Maintenance and Inspection of Benxi City Steel Co. Mr. Liang Erlong was arrested at home in Dongming. Mr. Liu Shiye, an employee of Beitai Oxygen Factory, and his wife, Ms. Bai Ling, who worked at the Seventh Hospital, were arrested at home. In Nandi, Ms. Zhang was arrested at home. In Pingshan, Ms. Cheng Yuejuan was arrested at home.
On the morning of October 28, 2010, officers led by the leader of Mingshan District Domestic Security Division in Benxi City went to Niuxintai to arrest eleven practitioners. Another female practitioner near Yongfeng Fourth Hospital was arrested.
6. [Huanren County, Liaoning Province] Many Practitioners Arrested
From 5:00 to 8:00 a.m. on October 28, 2010, many practitioners were arrested and their homes ransacked. Those arrested included Mr. Wang Yonghua; Mr. Zhang Yunsheng, who has been sentenced to forced labor a few times; Ms. Pan Guizhi; and Ms. Liang Laoliu. Ms. Pan and Ms. Liang were released in the afternoon. Mr. Wang Yonghua and Mr. Zhang Yunsheng are still in the Huanren County Police Department.
7. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Gao Yuxiang Tried
Tian Hongrun, director of the Shulan City Court; Wang Xianfeng, deputy director of the court; and Wang Yuxia, chief of the crime court, secretly tried Ms. Gao Yuxiang on October 12, 2010. In court, Ms. Gao was wearing handcuffs and shackles. They did not notify her family or the attorney from Beijing that the family had hired to defend her.

8. [Songzi City, Hubei Province] Ms. Liu Yu'e Sentenced to Two Years in Prison
Ms. Liu Yu'e from Songzi City went to the Fanyu District in Guangdong Province to visit her relatives in January 2010 and went missing. Her family searched for her in vain. Two months later, her daughter discovered that Ms. Liu was being held in the Fanyu Detention Center and had already been sentenced to two years in prison.
9. [Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Shulan Arrested
At 7:30 p.m. on October 28, 2010, Ms. Li Shulan from Nanyingzi Village, Dao'erdeng Town, Lingyuan City, was arrested by officers from the Dao'erdeng Town Police Station.

10. [Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Ding Naiqin Arrested
On the morning of October 28, 2010, Ms. Ding Naiqin from the Jianshan District, Shuangyashan City, was arrested by officers from Fu'an Police Station in the Jianshan District. She developed symptoms of heart disease and high blood pressure. Now she is at the Mine Administration Hospital. Gao Mingyang, director of Jianshan District Police Department, will not release her.

11. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Tian Liping Arrested
Ms. Tian Liping, 48, was reported when she was clarifying the truth in Caozhong. She was arrested by officers from the Hunhezhan Police Station and her home was ransacked. Her Dafa books were taken away as well as truth-clarifying materials, a computer, and thousands of yuan in cash. She is being held in the Shenyang City Detention Center.

12. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Lei Arrested
Ms. Wang Lei, 45, who lives in Liangxiang Town, the Fangshan District, Beijing, was arrested at her home by officers from the Beijing Police Department, Fangshan District Police Department, and Liangxiang Town Police Station at 2:00 a.m. on October 29, 2010. She is now in the Fangshan District Detention Center. There is no more information about her.

At 8: 00 a.m. on September 8, 2010, officers from the Domestic Security Division in the Gaoxin District of Weifang City, twelve people in all, lied to Mr. Wang Hongdai, who is in his 70s, and took him from his home at a Bus Transportation Co. Dormitory in Weifang City. He was arrested and taken to Weifang City Brainwashing Center. His home, including the basement, was ransacked. All Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials were taken away. Later, his family was ordered to pay 3000 yuan as living expenses, and to take care of him day and night. His family said that they didn't have time during working hours. 30,000 yuan was then extorted from his family and he was released at 11:00 p.m. At noon on October 14, 2010, police officers went to his home to harass him.

17. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Cao Ximin Arrested
Mr. Cao Ximin from Xiadian Town, Zhaoyuan City, was arrested by Sun Hualong, chief of the Xiadian Town 610 Office, and other officers, at 8:00 p.m. on October 22, 2010. They stormed into his home and ransacked it. They took DVDs, a recorder, and Dafa books. They dragged him to a police vehicle and took him to the Linglong Brainwashing Center.
18. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Seven Practitioners Sentenced
On September 22, 2009, seven practitioners were arrested in Hefei City. In 2010, these seven practitioners were sentenced to prison. Mr. Gao Zonghua and Ms. Tang Dafeng were sentenced to seven years in prison, Ms. Zhou Xiaolan and Ms. Zhao Ronghua to four years, and Ms. Jiang Guangxue to three years in prison. Ms. Yang Ping and Ms. Wu Chunhua were sentenced to three years in prison (suspended for five years).
19. [Bazhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zheng Huiwang Goes on Hunger Strike to Protest Persecution
Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zheng Huiwang from Bazhou City has been held over three years in Baoding City First Prison. During this time, guards have tried to force him to give up cultivation. He was not allowed to visit or communicate with his family. Mr. Zheng went on a hunger strike to protest. Now he is very weak and bedridden. His family asked to take him home to receive treatment but were turned down.

20. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Sufang Now Minded Absentminded as a Result of Persecution
Ms. Li Sufang, 43, is from Xincheng Town, Shahe City, Xingtai City. On April 23, 2007, she was reported when she was clarifying the truth. She was sentenced to five years in prison. She is being held in the No. 17 Ward, Tonglu Women's Prison, Hebei Province, where she has been tortured and locked in a small cell, deprived of sleep, beaten, verbally abused, insulted by inmates, and pressured to "transform." Now, as a result of persecution, she is absentminded, and her blood pressure is as high as 200 mm Hg.

At 3:00 p.m. on October 29, 2010, officers from Chaoyang Police Department stormed into Mr. Liu Yujian's office. They checked his computer. After they found Dafa materials, they arrested him and confiscated his personal property, including his computer.

At noon on October 14, 2010, officers from Hengshui City Domestic Security Division and Tongyue Police Station under the Raoyang Police Department, six officers in all, went to Ms. Liu Qingnuan's home in Yizhihe Village. She was not at home.
At 6:00 p.m. on October 14, 2010, Ms. Liu Shengli, director of Tongyue Township Police Station, went to Ms. Dong Guangshen's home in Mazhuang Village to arrest her. She had just returned from the fields when approximately six officers came into her home to take her to the police department. She was released at 10:00 p.m.
After they arrested Ms. Dong, they went to Ms. Yuxiao's home, took her Dafa books, and left.
26. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xu Jingbo Arrested
Ms. Xu Jingbo, 57, lives in Liuhe Fourth Village, Guti Town, in the Hanting District of Weifang City. On October 23, 2010, she was arrested at home and her home was ransacked. The police took away a computer, Dafa books, and photo of Master. At 11:00 p.m., she was released after 3000 yuan had been extorted from her. Later they continued to call her to to harass her.
27. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Xiumei Arrested
Ms. Li Xiumei from Jinan City was arrested and taken to Quancheng Road Police Station when she was clarifying the truth on Quancheng Plaza on the afternoon of October 13, 2010. That night, she was taken to Zhangzhuang Detention Center. At 8:00 p.m. they took her husband, a non-practitioner, and went to their home to ransack it. They took away a computer and Dafa books.
28. [Wulumuqi City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Ms. Zhang Xiuling Arrested
Ms. Zhang Xiuling from Houxia, Wulumuqi City, was arrested by officers from Tianshan Police Department on the afternoon of October 24, 2010. On October 27, 2010, a group of plainclothes officers ransacked their home and took 9000 yuan.
29. [Hunan Province] Dongkou County 610 Officers Harass Ms. Liu Qiju and Mr. Xiang Youhai
In late October 2010, agents from Dongkou County 610 Office and others went to Dongshan Village, Longkou Street, Dongkou County. They lied to Ms. Liu Qiju and took her to Shaoyang Brainwashing Center. Her family and those nearby criticized the officers. Ms. Liu has been persecuted many times.
Mr. Xiang Youhai was taken to the county 610 Office and then to Shaoyang City Brainwashing Center. He has also been persecuted many times.

30. [Hunan Province] Officers from Wugang City Police Station Harass Ms. Liu Liumei
Ms. Liu Liumei lives at Huoma Village, Maping Township. On the morning of October 15, 2010, Su Jian, the secretary of the village, took officers from the police department to her home and tried to force her to write the Guarantee Statement to give up the practice of Falun Gong. She was persecuted because she practices Falun Gong.

Ms. Liu Dengxiu, in her 60s, lives in Ganjiayuan, Wangjiapo, Wanzhou District. At 9:00 a.m. on October 23, 2010, she followed her husband to a bank to get cash. She was standing at the entrance of the bank. After her husband got the cash, she was arrested by officers from Wanzhou District Police Department and the State Security Division.
Ms. He Yulian, 74, lives alone in Pailou in the Wanzhou District. On October 23, 2010, she went to Honghua Market to buy food in the Wanzhou District. Without being given any reason by the police, she was arrested by officers from Pailou Police Station in the Wanzhou District, the Wanzhou District Police Department, and the State Security Division.
Mr. Tao Yukui, 66, lives in Daxing Village, Fenshui Town, the Wanzhou District. On the morning of October 23, 2010, he was arrested by Wanzhou District Police Department and State Security Division.
