(Clearwisdom.net) At our group Fa-study, a practitioner shared a story to illustrate how practitioners who live in the countryside cultivate Dafa, and do the right things with righteous actions. Many people are impressed by practitioners' integrity. As a result people are coming to realize that practicing Dafa improves a person's moral and ethical standards. Practitioners' righteous actions offer hope and inspire admiration, and thus more people are being saved.
A friend of a practitioner's son (not a practitioner) bought a new car. One day, his car was scratched by a farmer when he rode too close on a tricycle. He was heart broken to see his brand-new car scratched and asked the farmer to have it repaired. At the time, the farmer did not have enough money to repair the car. The son and his friend went to the farmer's home to get money and realized that the farmer was very poor. It would take a long time for the farmer to earn the five hundred yuan required to get the car fixed. Finally, the car was fixed for only two hundred yuan and the son and his friend decided to return the rest of money to the poor farmer.
They phoned the farmer to give him the good news. At first the farmer was reluctant to speak to them and thought that they were contacting him to ask for more money. He hesitated for a while, and then finally asked how much more money they wanted and offered to send the money. The son's friend explained that he did not want any more money, instead he was calling to return the extra three hundred yuan. The farmer still could not believe what he was hearing and told him where to meet to pick up the money in case it was a trick. The son and his friend went together to the meeting place and handed the money back to the farmer. The farmer was shocked at having the money returned, asking, "Do you practice Falun Gong?" which shocked the people who were present.
The son was impressed and told his mother (the practitioner) about the incident. He asked his mother to give him the Falun Gong book, wanting to find out for himself what it says.
