(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Hu Miaomiao, a practitioner from Chaigoupu Town, Huai'an County, Hebei Province, was arrested by a group of police officers on the morning of June 15, 2010, and her home was ransacked. They secretly sent her to Hebei Province Women's Forced Labor Camp in Shijiazhuang City to serve a one-year term on June 26, and did not inform her family.
Under orders from Wang Weiwei, head of Division One, inmates Wu Yanchun, Li Lingling and Zong Dongrong tortured Ms. Hu. They forced her to stand still for long periods of time. They beat her and repeatedly thrust a broom handle into her genital area. Three months after the assault, she still could not walk or stand up straight.
Ms. Hu's father and younger brother traveled by train from their hometown in Huai'an to the labor camp several times to visit her. However, Wang Weiwei refused their request to visit her every time after they got there.
After six months of repeatedly trying, Ms. Hu's family was finally allowed to see her on December 7, 2010. This was their first meeting since she was tortured at the camp. Ms. Hu's father had previously visited her once when she had just been sent there, but she had not been tortured at that time. During their nearly one-hour-long conversation, Ms. Hu told her father how she was tortured for more than two months and described the sexual abuse she was subjected to. Accompanying Ms. Hu's father for this visit was an agent from the local 610 Office and an official from the local government. When Ms. Hu's father told them and the labor camp officials, including Wang Weiwei and Feng Kezhuang, deputy head of the camp, about his daughter's abuse and suffering, he told them that he would come to visit his daughter every month.
Ms. Hu does not do hard labor at present, and her physical condition has slightly improved. She can walk upright, but she still does not have full use of one of her legs.
