(Clearwisdom.net) I am a 58-year-old female farmer from Changde City, Hunan Province. In September 2009, one day I suddenly felt sick and had difficulty breathing. I was also constantly coughing. At the county hospital, I was diagnosed with lung cancer.

I felt much pain in my internal organs from the coughing. To reduce the pain, I kept pressing on my abdomen. I was unable to catch my breath and felt weak. In just a couple of days, my weight dropped a lot, and my face became pale. My relatives were very concerned when they saw me, and they collected money for me to take chemotherapy as soon as possible.

I was soon a patient at the Tumor Hospital in Changsha for twenty days, where I took chemotherapy once and spent more than 20,000 yuan. However, I did not respond to the care, and my health declined further. I was unable to eat—even seeing other people eating made me nauseous. I lay in bed, motionless, depending on others to take care of my daily needs. I could not concentrate, and my head hurt so much that it felt as if I was being cut by a knife.

After I returned home, I looked like a dead person. My relatives were very shocked and were in agony. They were silent in front of me, but cried behind my back. My elderly mother cried every day and was unable to eat or sleep. When I was discharged from the hospital, a doctor told me to take another course of chemotherapy in 15 days. I asked the doctor if the chemotherapy could cure me. The doctor replied, "It is hard to say." It felt as if I had been sentenced to death.

At this extremely desperate point of my life, a Falun Gong practitioner came to visit me. She told me about many magical occurrences that have happened to Falun Dafa cultivators. I was so excited and immediately told her that I wanted to learn Falun Gong. Because I had no education, and I cannot read, I was given an MP3 player with Teacher's audio lectures. At first, I listened while lying in bed. On the second day, I was still unable to get up from bed, but was able to start eating. So, I sat on the bed, listening to Teacher's lectures as best I could. My right ear was deaf, and my left ear had poor hearing.

Several days later, the practitioner came to teach me the five exercises. My health improved every day.

Fifteen days after I had returned home from the hospital, my daughter-in-law called to tell me that she had collected enough money for me to take chemotherapy again. My nephews also told me that they would find the best private doctors and alternative prescriptions for me. I confidently told my relatives that I was alright, and they did not need to worry about me. Even over the phone, they could hear that my voice was full of energy, and I did not sound like a patient. Thus, they stopped trying to persuade me.

I am indeed healthy now. I no longer cough or have trouble breathing, both my ears are able to hear well, my long-time watery eyes are normal, my head feels clear, the bursitis in my shoulders is gone, and other diseases are cured as well.

Eighteen days after I began cultivation, my cough stopped. My will to cultivate is stronger than ever, and I am confident. I believe I am blessed and so fortunate. When I went to the market, other people were surprised. I received comments such as, "Your horrible illness was cured?" or "Really, I cannot believe how much better you are!" I told them how Falun Dafa has saved me, and I asked them to remember that Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good. What the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) says about Falun Gong and puts on TV are fabricated and false. The CCP and Jiang Zemin are the criminals because they persecute people.

My relatives witnessed the magical change in me and how I benefit from the practice. My brother obtained a set of Teacher's video lectures. My husband recited "Falun Dafa is good," and the protruding disc in his back was cured.

I sincerely thank Teacher for giving me a second life. I will cultivate to the end and follow Teacher to my celestial home.
