1. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ji Leming Arrested
On the evening of December 11, 2009, while Ms. Ji Leming was at home alone, there was a sudden power outrage, and she went outside to look for the problem. As soon as she opened her door, police officers rushed in. The officers had switched off her power. They searched her home and she was taken to the Xinhua Road Police Station. The next day, her daughter went to visit her at the station. In the evening, the officers forced the daughter to go with them while they searched Ms. Ji's home again. Ms. Ji is currently detained at a detention center.
2. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhao Jinyu Arrested
Mr. Zhao Jinyu, 73, lives in the Dadong District in Shenyang City. On January, 11, 2010, he was arrested for distributing Falun Dafa pamphlets in the Shenhai area by officers from the Shenhai Police Station.
3. [Da County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Chen Mingyong Sentenced to 10 Years Imprisonment
In March 2009, the Jingdezhen City Court sentenced Mr. Chen Mingyong to ten years in prison. Mr. Chen's whereabouts are unknown.
Mr. Chen is a practitioner from Da County. He was arrested for practicing Falun Dafa while he was attending graduate school and imprisoned from 2000 to 2003. He was arrested in 2008. At that time he worked for a private firm in Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province.
4. [Chongqing] Li Xianghai Sentenced to Four Years Imprisonment
On October 13, 2009, the Jiangning District Court in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, sentenced Mr. Li Xianghai to four years in prison. He is now in the Jiangning District Detention Center in Nanjing City.
Mr. Li is from Chongqing. He was forced to flee his home after he appealed for the right to practice Falun Dafa in Beijing in 2000. On June 20, 2008, he was arrested while he was working at the Changan Ford Motor Company construction site in the Nanjing Jiangning Development Zone.
5. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Practitioners Arrested in Dafeng Town, Xindu District
On January 9, 2010, seven practitioners talked about Falun Dafa to customers at the newly opened supermarket in Dafeng Town, Xindu District, Chengdu City. The local Sanyuan Village CCP director, Guo Jiafu, reported the practitioners to the police. Yang Huaizhong, an officer from the local police station, arrested the practitioners, but two of them escaped. The remaining five are being held at the Xindu District Detention Center.

6. [Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhang Haiming and Three Practitioners Arrested in Harbin City
Mr. Zhang Haiming is from Shuangcheng City. On December 14, 2009, Mr. Zhang and three other practitioners, Mr. Yan Jiguo, Ms. Gao Liping, and Ms. Song Yuhong, were arrested in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, by officers from the Ewenki Prefecture Police Department, Hulunbeir City, Inner Mongolia. The practitioners are being held in the Ewenk Prefecture Detention Center. The case officer is Wang Haijun from the Domestic Security Division of Ewenki Prefecture Police Department.
7. [Ninghe County, Tianjin] Ms. Jiang Shuyun Arrested
Ms. Jiang Shuyun is a practitioner in Nanmaizhu Village, Fengtai Town, Ninghe County. She has been detained for a month at the Ninghe County Detention Center. The administration at the detention center has refused to release her, citing that the family should provide a legal document from the local village committee.
8. [Luzhou City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Hu Biao Sentenced to Four and a Half Years in Prison
On October 13 and 14, 2009, the Gulin County Court in Luzhou City tried Mr. Hu Biao. Two attorneys, one from Beijing and the other from Hebei Province, pleaded not guilty on Mr. Hu's behalf. The court sentenced Mr. Hu to four and a half years in prison. He is appealing to a higher court.
9. [Cifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Practitioners Arrested in Linxi County
At about 9 a.m. on January 11, 2009, Ms. Yu Hongling from Longping Farm was arrested in Linxi Town, Linxi County, Cifeng City. She is being detained at the Linxi County Police Department. It was said that she was arrested for distributing Shen Yun DVDs.
On the morning of January 11, 2010, the police arrested Mr. Zhang Huijun and searched his home at Longping Farm and seized his property.
10. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Yulian from Funing County Arrested
On January 12, 2010, Ms. Li Yulian from Shimenzhai Town, Funing County, Qinhuangdao City, was arrested at the Shimenzhai Town open market by officers from the Domestic Security Division of Funing County Police Department and the Shimenzhai Town Police Station. She is being held in the Funing County Detention Center.
11. [Dingzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhao Xiuying Sentenced to Forced Labor
Ms. Zhao Xiuying is a practitioner in Dawali Village, Yangjiazhuang Township, Dingzhou City. On December 29, 2009, officers from the Dingzhou Domestic Security Division and the Yangjiazhuang Police Station arrested her and her son, Mr. Jia Fei. Ms. Zhao was sentenced to 15 months of forced labor. She was taken to the Hebei Province Women's Forced Labor Camp on January 13, 2010. Mr. Jia was released on January 5, 2010.
The arresting officers were Liu Shaoping, Ma Yunfei, and Yang Li from the Dingzhou Domestic Security Division; Liu and Mi (both given names unknown) from the Yangjiazhuang Police Station; and Jia Zhiguo with the security of Dawali Village.
12. [Luoding City, Guangdong Province] Officers Grabbed a Copy of Zhuan Falun in Public
Personal testimony: "I am a practitioner in Luoding City, Guangdong Province. Before 1999, I legally bought a copy of Zhuan Falun from a bookstore. At 2:10 p.m. on January 11, 2010, while I was reading the book in my booth in the market, Tan Baiyong and six or seven plainclothes officers from the 610 Office rushed in, snatched my book, and threatened to arrest me if I called for help. They left after 10 minutes because a crowd started to gather."
13. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] A Female Practitioner Arrested at a Bus Station
At 11:00 a.m. on January 11, 2010, a female practitioner in her 50s was arrested for carrying Falun Dafa pamphlets at the Linyi City Long-distance Bus Station. The son of the practitioners' friend was also arrested.
The practitioner is being detained, but the boy has been released. Their cell phones were confiscated.
14. [Kaifeng City, Henan Province] Police Searched Ms. Cheng Xianmei's Home
In the morning on December 9, 2009, Ms. Cheng Xianmei talked about Falun Dafa to people at the morning market in Kaifeng City. She was reported by a driver. Officers from the Kangle Police Station searched Ms. Cheng's home without a warrant, and seized her Falun Dafa books, DVDs, and other property. She was arrested and taken to the Domestic Security Division of Kaifeng City Police Department and released that afternoon.

15. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Bo Hanying and Ms. Hou Manli Arrested
On the evening of January 4, 2010, Ms. Bo Hanying and Ms. Hou Manli were arrested while posting Falun Dafa fliers. Officers searched Ms. Bo's home that same night and again on January 6, confiscating her computer, cash, and other property. The current situation regarding these two practitioners is unclear.
Ms. Bo, in her 50s, is retired from the Zhonglou Travel Agency in the Hantai District and lives in the Hantai District General Machinery Plant's family compound. In September 2001, she was held for more than two months at a brainwashing center located in the Wufeng Militia Training Base, and had thousands of yuan extorted from her, although it was categorized as "educational fees." In March 2006, while talking about Falun Dafa to others, she was arrested by officers from Nanzheng County. The police extorted several thousand yuan from her and sent her to a forced labor camp. She was put on parole after she failed to pass the physical exam because of liver disease. During the Beijing Olympics in July 2008, Ms. Bo was held at a brainwashing center located in the Nanzheng County Instrument and Meter Factory.
Ms. Hou, in her 50s, is retired from the Hantai District Public Transportation Company. In 2000, officers extorted several thousand yuan from her after she was caught posting Falun Dafa fliers. In September 2001, she was held for more than two months at a brainwashing center located in the Wufeng Militia Training Base. In 2002, she was sentenced to two years forced labor for talking about Falun Dafa to others. She was placed on parole after a physical exam indicated that she had severe kidney disease. In 2006, she was arrested and fined several thousand yuan for distributing Falun Dafa fliers. In 2007, she was reported to police for talking about Falun Dafa. She fled and did not return home again after escaping arrest.
16. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Wang Jianguo and Ms. Li Xiaoyan Face Sentencing
Ms. Li Xiaoyan from the Yanjiang District in Ziyang City, Sichuan Province, works at the Chengdu City Computer Mall. On the afternoon of September 14, 2009, she was arrested at her apartment in Xinhuayuan in the Wenjiang District by officers from the Chengdu City Domestic Security Division and Jiucheng Police Station in the Wenjiang District. She was first detained and tortured at the Wenjiang Detention Center. Several days later, she was transferred to the Pi County Detention Center. At the end of October, she was secretly transferred to the Chengdu City Jinhua Brainwashing Center. Her family was not informed of the transfer before she was transferred back to the Pi County Detention Center.
Mr. Wang Jianguo, Ms. Li's husband, is also from the Yanjiang District and works at the Chengdu City Computer Mall. Around September 21, 2010, he was arrested on his way home by officers from the Tiaoshanta Police Station. He is imprisoned at the Pi County Detention Center.
Liu, the case officer at the Shuangnan Police Station, informed the family by phone that Ms. Li and Mr. Wang would be sentenced.
17. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Luo Hui's Home Searched
At around 10:00 a.m. on December 28, 2009, Mr. Luo Hui was waiting at a bus stop near a university for senior citizens. He was carrying a paper bag full of vegetables that he had bought and some Falun Dafa calendars. He was talking to an elderly person about Falun Dafa. He was going to give the person a Falun Gong memento from his pocket, when a man standing nearby turned towards them. Mr. Luo stopped, and the older person left. When Mr. Luo was about to walk away, the man asked him to open the bag, and at the same time grabbed the calendars. As soon as the man saw the title "Falun Dafa around the World" on the calendar, the man cried out, "Falun Dafa (practitioner) is giving out fliers." The man held Mr. Luo, would not let him go, and called the Dunzikuang Police Station. Mr. Luo realized that the man was a plainclothespolice officer. The officer was about 35 to 36 years old and 1.75 meters tall.
That afternoon, Mr. Luo was taken to his home by employees from the security office of the school where he was employed and officers from the Jiaoqiao Police Station. They searched his home and seized his Falun Dafa books, discs, and printouts.
