1. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Li Tieyin, Ms. Guo Enlan and Ms. Sun Liping Sentenced

The Xi'an Area Court in Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province sentenced Mr. Li Tieyin, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province, to five years and six months of imprisonment on January 20, 2010. Ms. Guo Enlan was sentenced to five years and six months imprisonment, and Ms. Sun Liping was sentenced to three years, and a five-year suspended sentence.

On the afternoon of January 20, 2010, police officers from the Domestic Security Division of Daqing, Heilongjiang Province arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Liu Bo and ransacked his home.

4. [Liaoning Province] Mr. Gao Changrong Receives Two-Year Sentence

Officers from the Guchengzi Police Station, Wanghua District, Fushun City arrested practitioner Mr. Gao Changrong on December 28, 2009 while he was distributing truth-clarification calendars in Wulaotun Bridge, Wanghua District. He was taken to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp on January 13, 2010, to serve two years of forced labor.

5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wu Qiuju Harassed by Police

After 8 p.m. on January 19, 2010, officers from Dagujiazi Police Station in Faku County, Shenyang City ransacked the home of practitioner Ms. Wu Qiuju. They confiscated Falun Gong discs, pamphlets and other items.

6. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Binfeng Taken to Forced Labor Camp

Local police arrested Harbin City practitioner Ms. Zhang Binfeng, 53 years old, on September 12, 2009, while she was talking to people about Falun Gong near Taiping Bridge in Harbin City. She was sentenced to one year of forced labor and detained at the Yaziquan of Heilongjiang Province Women's Forced Labor Camp.

7. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhao Changfu and Hou Baoshan Arrested

On January 17, 2010, in Lingyuan, Chaoyang City, practitioners Mr. Zhao Changfu and Mr. Hou Baoshan accompanied the wife of a friend to Beijing for medical treatment. When they presented their ID's to check into a hotel that night, officers from the Tian Village Police Station, Haidian District Public Security Sub-bureau in Beijing arrested them. On the night of January 18, they were held at the Haidian District Detention Center.

8. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Liu Dengkui Arrested

Practitioner Mr. Liu Dengkui of Xiangfang District, Harbin City was arrested on January 17, 2010, and held at the Yaziquan Detention Center.

9. [Shanghai] Mr. Guo Xiaojun Arrested

On January 8, 2010, police arrested practitioner Mr. Guo. Guo Xiaojun was previously sentenced to five years of imprisonment. On December 8, 2009, he was fired from his job by employers due to pressure from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

10. [Beijing] Additional Information on the Persecution of Mr. Li Zhanjin

Mr. Li Zhanjin of Beijing University was arrested by officers from the Haidian Police Station on December 29, 2009, and held in the Haidian Detention Center that evening.

11. [Shandong Province] Ms. Yan Dongmei Arrested

On the morning of January 19, 2010, officials from the Rizhao City 610 Office arrested practitioner Ms. Yan Dongmei, who worked at a company in Rizhao Port.

12. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Xiuli Arrested for Rescuing Family Member

On January 18, 2010, the Fengna Area Court of Tangshan City, Hebei Province conducted a trial against illegally detained practitioners Ms. Wang Xiuwen and Ms. Wang Xiuqin.

On January 20, their relative and practitioner Ms. Wang Xiuli requested their release to officials at the Fengna Police Station, but was refused. On the afternoon of January 21, officers from the Xiaoji Town Police Station ransacked Wang Xiuli's home, confiscated the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and Falun Gong materials, and arrested Wang Xiuli.

13. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Hu Hongke Sentenced

Practitioner Mr. Hu Hongke, a Xifeng Liquor Factory employee in Fengxiang, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, was sentenced to four years imprisonment. He is currently being held at the Weinan Prison.

14. [Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province] Additional Information about the Persecution of Ms. Ouyang Shengqin

On the night of January 9, 2010, practitioner Ms. Ouyang Shengqin was arrested while distributing Falun Gong materials, and taken to the Domestic Security Division of Xunyang Public Security Sub-bureau.

On the afternoon of January 20, her older brother and sister-in-law requested her release at the Domestic Security Division. The police refused them visitation rights, even to deliver daily necessities.

Local police arrested practitioners Ms. Wang Yumei and Ms. Li Xia in July 2009, and their homes were ransacked. A secret trial was held on January 20, 2010.

18. [Jianyang City, Sichuan Province] Additional Information about the Persecution of Five Falun Dafa Practitioners

Mr. Zhang Shixiang, 59, is now physically exhausted and emaciated due to persecution. He has been bound with heavy foot shackles for a long period of time.

On December 27, 2009, practitioners Ms. Lei Jinxiang, Ms. Jia Zhengfen, Ms. Liu Dehui and Ms. Peng Xiuqiong were taken to the Sichuan Province Women's Prison at Yangma River, Jianyang City. Zhang Shixiang was taken to Wumaping Jail in Leshan.

19. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Chen Shengqun Sentenced

On June 4, 2009, Wuhan practitioner Mr. Chen Shengqun was reported to the authorities, and then arrested while he was explaining the facts about Falun Gong at Yubei District, Chongqing City. He is currently being held at the Yubei District Detention Center. Since he refused to give up his beliefs, he was denied all visitation rights for his family, and received a three-year sentence on September 24, 2009.

20. [Yanbian City, Jilin Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Since January 16, 2010, practitioners in Yanji City, Jilin Province have faced large-scale raids by the police. Practitioners arrested include Ms. Wang Shuhua, Mr. Zhang Xingcai, Ms. Liu Wenwen, Ms. Liu Lulu, Ms. Jing Meiying, Mr. Zhao Xueshun, Mr. Mu Derong, Mr. Xu, Mr. Song, Mr. Cui and many others. They are currently being held in brainwashing sessions organized by the Yanji Industrial School.

21. [Huaihua, Hunan Province] Additional Information about the Arrest of Two Practitioners

On January 17, 2010, practitioners Ms. Yang and Ms. Bai were arrested by officials from the Luojiu Town government while they were explaining the facts about Falun Gong at Luojiu Town, Zhijiang County, Huaihua. Ms. Yang escaped the same night, while Ms. Bai is still being held at the Hongjiang District Detention Center.
