(Clearwisdom.net) On June 5, Falun Gong practitioners from Oregon participated in the Starlight Parade in the Portland Rose Festival. Their float won the Best Illumination Award.
This was the sixth time that Falun Gong practitioners have participated in this parade. They made a "Fa-boat" float, which was warmly welcomed by the spectators.
It was the 105th Starlight Parade in Portland. The parade started just after dusk. Practitioners demonstrated the exercises on the float, which was 40-foot long, 12-foot wide and 24-foot high. It was designed by four engineers who practice Falun Gong, and took practitioners about 1000 man-hours to finish.
