It Is Not That the Sentient Beings Do Not Want to Be Saved, It Is That We Had Not Saved Them

Sept. 27, 2010

(Clearwisdom.net) My hometown is quite far away from where I live. Each time I went back home to visit my family, I did not make much time to do anything else. I had worries in my mind and so never exposed the persecution to the people in my hometown.

A local coordinator contacted me and my wife, who is also a practitioner, one day. She told us that no practitioners had ever spoken to people about the persecution in my hometown and that we needed to take charge of this work. She offered to help us whenever we needed it. I knew of two other practitioners living in my hometown, but they had never exposed the persecution in that area either. I then realized that this was my responsibility, especially to the people in my hometown, who had predestined relationships with me.

I encouraged the two practitioners in my hometown to help clarify the facts and to collect people's phone numbers so that my wife and I could call them.

When my wife called a person using the automatic dialing machine that plays a recorded message, she told me that when the person spoke, they said loudly, "I know that the Chinese Communist Party is evil and I have not wanted to be a part of it for a long time. I know that you are good people and do everything to save us..." He stopped speaking when he realized that it was a recording he was listening to, and continued to listen for six minutes. My wife gave me the person's phone number and a practitioner called him.

When I met the practitioner who was phoning these people, he told me that he called the person and had helped him to quit the CCP. The practitioner said, "The person was so grateful and he asked me to be careful for my own safety." We were very happy that a life had been saved.

When I met with the local coordinator and told her the story. She said, "See, it is not that the sentient beings do not want to be saved, it is that we had not saved them!"

There are many things we did not do well, and we need to work harder to save more sentient beings. I would like to remind fellow practitioners that every second is important because beings are eager to be saved!
