Sept. 28, 2010 |   By a Clearwisdom correspondent from Hebei Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Around mid afternoon on August 16, 2010, Wang Heli, head of Baoding City 610 Office, instigated officers Liu Guishuan, head of Baoding Domestic Security Division, and others from the Public Security Bureau and Domestic Security Division of Baoding and Mancheng County, as well as personnel from village committees to systematically arrest practitioners.

Officers forced their way into practitioners' homes, and ransacked them. They confiscated a laser printer and two Inkjet printers, two desktop computers, two laptops, a DVD burner, 40 boxes of printing paper and other personal belongings. The following are accounts of what happened to the practitioners.

Mr. Yan Xinpu was arrested prior to the crackdown and taken to the Xiaobailou Brainwashing center in Baoding on August 13, 2010.

Ms. Yin Shumei and Ms. Liu Lan were arrested on August 16 and taken to the Women's Forced Labor Camp of Shijiazhuang City.

Ms. Shi Lihuan from Dagudian Village, Mancheng County, has been persecuted by officers from the Nanhan Village Police Station several times. Her husband was also subjected to forced labor and forced to become homeless for several years to avoid further persecution. Plainclothes officers ransacked Ms. Shi's house on August 16, and she is being held at the Xiaobailou Brainwashing Center in Baoding.

While Ms. Zhao Zhiyun, from Bailong Village in Mancheng County, was taking care of her grandchild on August 16, several plainclothes officers attempted to take her to the police station to interrogate her. When she refused to go with them, they tried to take her by force. Ms. Zhao was so traumatized that she passed out. The officers then started to rummage around her house and planned to take her son's computer. Ms. Zhao's family members began to remind the officers that their actions would actually cause harm to themselves. The officers then left empty handed. Ms. Zhao was taken to the hospital for emergency care, and three police officers were sent there to monitor her.

When Mr. Shi Chunlai from Yaozhuang Village in Mancheng County returned home on August 16, he was met by Ma Zhanying, head of Shangxiang Police Station, who led officers to his house. He was arrested and his home was ransacked. He is being held at the detention center in Mancheng County.

A person came to Ms. Sun Yuhuan's house in Zikou Village, Mancheng County, in the afternoon of August 16. They said they wanted to listen to the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong. Several plainclothes police officers then broke into Ms. Sun's house and tried to force her to sign some of their documents, but Ms. Sun refused. They then ransacked her house, confiscating her computer and all her Falun Gong books. Ms. Sun was taken to Mancheng County's detention center. She was later transferred to the Women's Forced Labor Camp in Shijiazhuang on August 18.

When Ms. Wu Yanying, a teacher at the Dongma Elementary School in Mancheng County, was taking a nap at around noon on August 16, plainclothes officers broke in to her house and ransacked it. Ms. Wu was arrested on August 18 and taken to the Women's Forced Labor Camp in Shijiazhuang.

When Ms. Ma Lijuan from Dongcun Village, Chengguan Town, Mancheng County returned home from work on August 16, Cao Chaowei from the Chengguan Police Station led several plainclothes officers to ransack her house and arrest her. She was taken to Mancheng County's detention center. On August 18, she was sent to the Women's Forced Labor Camp in Shijiazhuang. Due to the immense pressure of the persecution, her blood pressure reached 240, and officials at the labor camp refused to take her. She has now returned home.

Mr. Yuan Ximan from Nanweizhuang Village, Shenxing Town, Mancheng County, was arrested by officers from the Bailong Village Police Station in 2008, while distributing materials that exposed the persecution of Falun Gong. He was taken to the forced labor camp in Baoding by Zhang Xuebing, head of local 610 Office, and other officers. But officials at the labor camp refused to accept Mr. Yuan because he was disabled. Half of his body later became paralyzed and he was in constant need of his wife's care. When police officers came to ransack his house in August 2010, they noticed Mr. Yuan's condition and decided to arrest his wife instead. She was then forced to leave home to avoid persecution. Mr. Yuan is left alone at home, with no one to take care of him.

Fan Zhenqi, a retired official was put under house arrest in an apartment owned by Taihang Prison.

Mr. Tian Zhixian and Ms. Yin Fenglan were also arrested.
