(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Hu Miaomiao was detained at the First Section of Hebei Province Women's Forced Labor Camp in Shijiazhuang City. Under orders from Wang Weiwei, the section chief, several inmates severely tortured her. They used extremely base methods including using broom handles and their fingers to sodomize her. It caused tremendous damage to her both physically and psychologically. Three months have passed, but Ms. Hu still hasn't recovered from the trauma. She was taken back to the section after three months of solitary confinement and is being mistreated by the inmates under orders from the guards.

Labor camp personnel escalated the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners beginning in October 2010. Visitation and phone calls from the practitioners' family members were denied. The practitioners were forced to watch slanderous TV programs every evening. Practitioners who refused to watch would be confined in a room from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Some practitioners went on hunger strikes to protest the persecution. Ms. Ji Shujun and Ms. Wang Hui have been on hunger strikes for more than a month and they are force-fed every day.

Ms. Hu Miaomiao hasn't recovered

Ms. Hu Miaomiao's physical condition is still worrisome. She has difficulty walking and has to move slowly, her hand on the wall, when she goes to the toilet or washroom. Inmate Cheng Qiaoyun swore at her, saying that Ms. Hu was pretending to be sick. She didn't let Ms. Hu put her hand on the wall. Ms. Hu couldn't squat down to use the toilet, so she had to endure the pain and support her body with arms. To sit on a stool, she has to support herself with her hand on the bed rails. She was forced to watch their TV programs every evening even though she had difficulty sitting. She was often verbally abused with foul language. Inmates Wang Hongyan and Xu Yunyun also yelled and swore at her. They didn't allow others to purchase toilet paper for her.

Beaten and shouted at; the guards feign ignorance

Inmate Zong Dongrong tried to escape in September and was caught and brought back. The guards didn't want to be responsible for monitoring her, so they handcuffed her and Ms. Hu in the confinement room. According to sources, inmate Li Lingling instigated Zong Dongrong to sexually abuse Ms. Hu. Li Lingling repeatedly slapped Ms. Hu in the face until she was bruised and swollen. Another inmate, Wu Yanchun, also beat and kicked Ms. Hu.

Guard Wang Weiwei deceived her

Ms. Hu was still sleeping on the ground in the dark confinement room in October. Her private parts had been injured and she was in great pain. She had difficulty moving about. Ms. Hu asked Wang Weiwei to let her go back to the section. Wang Weiwei lied about the lack of a lower berth, but she would let Ms. Hu go back to the section if she could climb up to an upper berth. Wang Weiwei took Ms. Hu to a bunk bed in the storage room and watched Ms. Hu climb up and down the upper berth although she was in such great pain that she was in tears. Wang Weiwei didn't keep her promise, though. Ms. Hu was still held in solitary confinement until the end of November, three months in all.

For defending Ms. Hu, another inmate is struck with an electric baton and held in solitary confinement

Around December 10, inmate Cheng Qiaoyun swore at Ms. Hu while another inmate, Cao Caiping, defended Ms. Hu. Cheng Qiaoyun slapped Cao Caiping in the face and they fought with each other. Guard Zhao hit Cao Caiping with an electric baton and Cao Caiping fainted. Guard Liu Yufen handcuffed her hands together and ordered the inmates to pull her to the confinement room. Cao Caipong was held in solitary confinement for more than a week.

Confined and monitored

Ms. Hu was taken to another cell later. Two inmates, Cheng Qiaoyun and Song Fangfang, shared the cell with her and monitored her. Cheng Qiaoyun didn't allow Song Fangfang to talk to Ms. Hu and often cursed at Ms. Hu. Ms. Hu was not allowed to contact anyone. Although Ms. Hu had difficulty moving about, Cheng Qiaoyun didn't help her or let anyone else help her. Wang Hongyan and Xu Yunyun often berated and cursed at Ms. Hu, and limited her trips to the toilet.
