Police from Yushu City Break into Mr. Ma Changqing's Home and Steal Money

(Clearwisdom.net) The police from the Yushu City Domestic Security Division broke into practitioner Mr. Ma Changqing's home and confiscated more than 33,000 yuan. They arrested Mr. Ma. His wife was unable to bear the shock and loss and had a cerebral hemorrhage. She remains unconscious.

At around 3:00 p.m. on November 15, 2010, several police officers from the Yushu City Domestic Security Division broke into Mr. Ma Changqing's home, located in the residential area of the Daqu Brewery Company. They did not show any legal documents and proceeded to ransack the place right away. They confiscated more than 33,000 yuan and some Falun Gong books. They then arrested Mr. Ma and sent him to a detention center. His daughter was so terrified during the process that she had four seizures. The home was left in a mess. The police officers that participated in the crime include Director of the Yushu City Domestic Security Division Fa Hongkai, and officers Shi Hailin, Li Xiao, Qi Li and Han Yueting.

Mr. Ma Changqing is a railroad maintenance worker in Yushu City. In 1981, he had an accident at work and broke his spine in several places. He had to wear a steel vest at all times in order to prevent paralysis. After he began to practice Falun Gong in 1996, his injuries recovered and he was able to remove the steel vest.

After 11 days of detention in the detention center, police officers Qi Li and Li Xiao sent Mr. Ma to the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City, Jilin Province. The labor camp refused to accept him because of his health history. He was then released.

Mr. Ma went to the Yushu City Domestic Security Division to request all of his confiscated money back. Only 17,000 yuan was returned to him.

Mr. Ma's wife was traumatized during Mr. Ma's arrest, and she was also angry about the large sum of money that was not returned. With all the stress and difficulties, she suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and has been in a coma for more than 12 days. Mr. Ma had to borrow money for her treatment. Mr. Ma's daughter has not fully recovered from the seizures that she suffered during his arrest.
