(Clearwisdom.net) Klagenfurt, the capital of Carinthia, Austria, is located beside lake Wörthersee, in Klagenfurt Valley. On October 1, 2011, Falun Gong practitioners held an Information Day there, where they introduced Falun Gong to local citizens and exposed the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutal persecution.

Activities was held in Neuer Platz, a new city centre square. Many passersby stopped to view the picture exhibition. Practitioners wearing yellow exercise suits demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises. The peaceful scene drew many spectators. A band consisting of western practitioners sang the song Falun Dafa is Good and other songs which exposed the CCP's persecution in China. One lady told a practitioner that she had never heard such beautiful songs. She said she would ask her daughter to listen to the songs.
Signature forms were placed on a table, and many people came to sign the petition calling for an end to the persecution. People were indignant upon hearing about the persecution of innocent Falun Gong practitioners. One older man said, “I know why CCP persecutes Falun Gong practitioners so brutally. It's because the CCP does’t like people thinking differently.”
Practitioners told passersby about the benefits of Falun Gong, and exposed the CCP’s brutal persecution of the practice. They hope that more and more people will help to stop the persecution.
After learning the facts, some people expressed their wish to learn Falun Gong. A few days later, the practitioners organized another activity to teach the Falun Gong exercises.
