(Clearwisdom.net) I live in a remote town in Liaoning Province. After a co-worker of mine whom I'll call Xiaoguo read some factual information about Falun Gong given to him by a fellow practitioner, he came to understand the truth about Falun Dafa, and felt the practice was good. He later borrowed two Dafa books from me and took them home to read.

A few years ago, Xiaoguo's aunt went to Heilongjiang Province to visit his parents. After he told his aunt about the power of Dafa, she asked for a copy of Zhuan Falun to take back home with her. Not long after she returned to her remote hometown, many people read the book and started to practice Falun Dafa.

Xiaoguo usually stores his copy of Zhuan Falun on a bookshelf in his bedroom. One night when he was sound asleep, he was suddenly awakened by a bright light. He thought that the light was from outside, but when he opened the curtain, he saw that it was dark out. When he turned around, he saw that the light was emanating from the bookcase that held his Dafa books.

He opened the bookcase and saw that the book Zhuan Falun was shining brightly. He held out the book and leaned it on one of the shelves. When he opened it, he could not find a single word inside. He got very anxious.

He thought to himself, “I borrowed this book. How can I return it if there are no words in it?” He had no idea what to do, so he nervously put the book back on the bookshelf and went to bed. As soon as he got up the next morning, he anxiously took the book out and found that the words had all reappeared! He was very happy. Later, when he saw me at work, he said, “I will not return this book to you no matter what you say. It is indeed a treasure!”

Xiaoguo repairs appliances in his spare time. One day while he was soldering a component in a refrigerator, a tube and the freon reservoir exploded, engulfing him in fire, yet he was not burned. Instead, he felt as if there was a shield in front of his face blocking the fire. But the people behind him were injured. When he returned home, he was visibly shaken. After he laid down on his bed, he saw Master come into his room, smiling. He knew that Master had protected him, otherwise the consequences might have been disastrous.

Xiaoguo's appliance repair teacher has a friend who is a police officer, and they are frequently in touch. Xiaoguo took the opportunity to the officer and his wife about the greatness of Dafa, and brought them Dafa books to read. The police officer's wife sincerely admired Dafa after reading the books, but her husband did not share the same sentiment at the time.

One day, the officer told his wife that she could no longer read Dafa books. However, his wife ignored him and continued to read. The officer became so angry that he beat his wife and tore up the Dafa book she was reading.

His wife was so mortified that she ran away, with her husband close behind. As she was crossing a street, a car was speeding towards her. She accidentally fell, and the car drove right over her. She then got up and continued running. The car however, flipped over right on top of her husband's legs, fracturing them. He was rushed to the local hospital.

After the police reviewed the details of the accident, they were stupefied. The officer realized that his broken legs might be related to the fact that he tore up the Dafa book. He called Xiaoguo and asked him to come to the hospital. After Xiaoguo arrived, the officer told Xiaoguo what had happened.

He apologized, “I am sorry I tore up the book.” Xiaoguo said, “You can return the damaged book to me.” His family put the pieces of the book in a plastic bag and brought them to the hospital, where the officer and Xiaoguo were.

When his family arrived, they opened the plastic bag, but instead of finding the book in pieces, they saw that the book was completely intact. The officer was amazed and begged Xiaoguo to leave the book with him, but Xiaoguo refused.

Xiaoguo told me this story after he came back. He said he wanted to give them another book, but he would never give anyone this book. Xiaoguo said, “This book was intact after being torn to pieces. This would never happen to any other book.”

In fact, Dafa has always been extraordinary. It was through this incident that the couple learned how miraculous and extraordinary Dafa is. Xiaoguo kept his word and lent them a new book.
