(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Liang Yuncheng from Fengcheng City in Liaoning Province was persecuted in Benxi City Prison and his condition was recently grave. His family went to the prison to visit him, but the prison authorities made it difficult and would not allow them to meet. In the end, the prison authorities agreed to allow a visit in three weeks. However, when the family came for a visit after three weeks, they were informed that Mr. Liang had been transferred to the Dalian City Prison.
Mr. Liang worked as a judge at the Fengcheng Court. He has been repeatedly persecuted by the Chinese Communist regime for more than ten years because he refuses to give up practicing Falun Gong. He has been arrested and detained many times and sent to forced labor camps twice. In 2006, he was cruelly tortured in Benxi Forced Labor Camp and Anshan Forced Labor Camp. Guards in the Benxi Forced Labor Camp tortured him twice using a method called the Stretching Bed. They shouted while torturing him, “I'll make it so you can neither die nor live.” Mr. Liang was arrested again on September 5, 2010, and has been imprisoned ever since.

Clearwisdom reported on September 15, 2011, “Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Liang Yuncheng from Fengcheng City, Dandong, Liaoning Province, was put into solitary confinement in Prison Service Division because of his refusal to wear the prison uniform. He has been held there for over a month. Guards and inmates force-feed him every day. His life is in grave danger.”
After getting this news, Mr. Liang's family traveled several hundred kilometers to the Benxi City Prison on September 24, 2011. The prison authorities did not allow them to meet under the pretense that it was not a visiting day that day. After negotiations involving multiple parties, the prison authorities finally promised to let them meet on October 18, 2011.
On October 18, 2011, when Mr. Liang's family went to the prison again, the prison authorities told them that Mr. Liang had been transferred to the Dalian City Prison. When the family asked why they had transferred Mr. Liang and why they had not notified the family, guard Wang said that it was a provincial prison bureau decision and that Mr. Liang had not been “transformed” and even helped those who had been “transformed” to declare their “transformations” null and void.
Mr. Liang's condition is uncertain. It is unclear whether he is actually in the Dalian City Prison, which ward he is in, and what his status is.
