(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Xue Yujun and his wife are from Zhao Yu Village in Mengyin County, Linfen City, Shandong Province. The couple were arrested, tortured and extorted, and put into a labor camp. What follows is the wife's narration of their experiences.
My husband Xue Yujun is 43-year-old who had a hot temper since childhood. I decided to practice Falun Gong because of ill health. My hypotension has since disappeared. So, I tried to persuade him to practice. That is how he began the practice.
Since then, he got rid of all his bad habits. His temper became milder; he became considerate of others and took the initiative to help others. He earned respect from our neighbors.

Captured and tortured
Around 7.20 p.m. on February 25, 2004, I was preparing dinner. Suddenly, more than 20 authorities rushed into my home and held me. My husband and Lv Zhen (who later died as a result of persecution at the Shandong Prison) were in the room. They were also arrested. I shouted for help and someone jumped over to cover my mouth. I tried to get away and continued to shout. They pushed me down and kicked me hard, making me lose feeling in my spine for two months. They also twisted my hand behind my back and handcuffed me.
Wang Wei roared, “We are from the police station and came to arrest you.” Our two boys were asleep but were awakened up by his shouting and cried hard. I wanted to calm my children but the persecutors stopped me. They took all three of us away and covered my mouth with a sweater to keep me from calling out for help.
Later on, I learned that these intruders turned my home upside down. Clothes were thrown anywhere. The fence in the yard was knocked down. Many of them waited in my home in an attempt to arrest more practitioners that might come. They even took the only 450 Yuan in cash that we had. A villager asked them to leave the money for our two sons to buy food, but they refused.
It was the beginning of February of the lunar calendar and very chilly. They took the quilt from my children to cover themselves and only left a thin blanket for the children. My children could not get to sleep for the whole night because of the cold. Whenever my sons cried, they would threaten them.
I was taken to the county brainwashing class held by 610 office and tortured. They beat me, forced me to sit on the cold concrete floor for long periods with my legs outstretched. When I refused, they kicked me down to the floor. They demanded to know other practitioners' names. They kept slapping me because I didn't say a word. Wicked officer Wang Wei beat me the hardest. At first he used his hands. When his hands hurt, he kicked my head, my legs and stepped on my feet with his leather shoes. When he got tired, another one took turns. I sat on the cold concrete floor the whole night, trembling from the cold.
At the Mengyin County brainwashing class, Wang Wei handcuffed my husband and forced him to sit on the concrete floor. He kicked my husband's handcuffed wrists with his leather shoes. My husband was cuffed and shackled for one month. Later on he was transferred to the Mengyin County Detention Center for one month and put into a labor camp for two and half years.
I spent more than two months in the brainwashing center. During that period, domestic security agents interrogated and tortured me over and over again. They made me sit on the floor, scolded and beat me. My family finally found someone to pay them six thousand yuan as a bribe and they eventually released me.
Unfortunately, that same day I was released, they covertly put my husband Xue Yujun into the Wangcun forced labor camp.

On May 20, 2005, labor camp No. 7 team head Jing Xusheng tortured by husband with an electric shock baton and hung him up. On May 24, because my husband shouted, “Falun Dafa is good,” five guards carried him into a room and hung him up for about five hours and later deprived him of sleep. He was not allowed to sleep until 3:00 a.m. and had to get up at 5:00 a.m. He was held in that room for one month.
My relatives on one occasion went to the labor camp to visit my husband. The officer on duty said, “You have to wait here for a while. He is taking an exam.” They waited for a long time before Xue Yujun came out. They asked what kind of exam he had. He replied, “Study.” When they asked what he studied he said that he was learning how to steal and swear at people. He told them that his term can be reduced by scolding and beating others. Otherwise, his term had to be extended. My relatives were shocked.
