Keeping Righteous Thoughts All the Time, Validating the Fa Everywhere
I returned home in the early hours of the morning. In the afternoon I went to take a shower and my elder sister followed behind me. I later learned that my relatives had done up a roster in order to watch me around the clock. Standing outside the door, my sister tried to persuade me. I then patiently clarified the facts to her. She said angrily: “If you persist, I will put you on the tiger bench and shock you to death with an electric baton myself.” I was shocked, “Are these words a sister should utter to her sister?” Through my celestial eye, I saw a being with a square head and half transparent body perched on my sister's right shoulder. I said to it: “My Master decides everything!” It suddenly vanished. Later on, my sister started to practice Dafa and when I mentioned this incident, she was astonished!
I went back to work the day after I came home. I took on the jobs of three people. Blessed by Master, I completed the tasks at one go. The factory supervisor looked at me in surprise. He said,“So quick?” I nodded. He continued, “Did you finish all the tasks?” I replied, “Yes, it's all done!” As he walked out, he said to himself, “This is a miracle! You can read Zhuan Falun now!”
My upright conduct and diligence moved those assigned to monitor me. Once, someone watching me said, “I really don't understand how you are so fortunate?” I replied, “It's because I started cultivation!” He said, “It is not so simple.” He went on to tell me, “The police station rang the place where you were detained at 8 a.m. informing them that we were going to escort you home. The other party said,“Her family came to pick her up at midnight already!” The police officer was puzzled, “Why did you release the prisoner ahead of time? “ The bureau chief said, “It was past midnight, therefore it was today. Furthermore we saw the slip instructing us to release the person.” How did your husband obtain the slip? I answered, “My husband told me he received a call from the police station asking him to bring me home from the station the next day. A family member can come along with money to pay for the petrol. Upon arriving at the police station, my husband learned that he had to pay a large sum of petrol money and told the officers, “It seems that you are quite busy. Let me go and pick up my wife.” With that, he took the slip authorizing my release. He returned home and very quickly got a car to fetch me. The police officer monitoring me said, “I'm a veteran police officer who has been in this position for many years. This is the first time I came across something like that. It's unheard of!”
Going to Beijing a Fourth Time to Validate the Fa
The evil was most rampant in the year 2002. In order to help more people learn the truth about Dafa, after studying the Fa at length, I sent out powerful righteous thoughts from deep within my mind: “I want to validate the Fa with my whole life!” I felt this thought permeate through the many levels of my dimensions!
On the 16th of the first lunar month, around 10 a.m., another practitioner and I successfully arrived at Tiananmen Square. I went to a spot thirty meters in front of a CCP memorial where it was most crowded and saw a policeman stationed at a watchtower about 40 meters away. There was a huge double-decker police van parked about 50 meters away and several police in the upper deck were closely surveying the surroundings. Some of them were watching through binoculars. Around the van, there were many police on patrol. Without thinking too much, I solemnly took out a banner with the words “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and held it high with both hands, then shouted with all my might: “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good! Clear my Master's name!” I heard sounds of applause from several areas and from afar, a Caucasian lady shouted: “OK!”. Afterwards I safely went to the train station.
That night, I returned home unscathed and saw my husband walking up and down anxiously in the room. The look in his eye made me realize that since the persecution started, he was often worried about me.” I instantaneously felt compassion in my heart and said, “See, I am back safely! I will try to do better next time, don't worry too much!” He then calmed down but there were tears in his eyes.
Giving out Brochures and Saving People
Just before the commencement of the 16th National's People Congress, CCP agents were looking for me everywhere.
My elder brother lived in another area and wanted me to stay at his place for a period of time. I knew that he was trying to protect me. I remembered Master's words:
“The steadfast, righteous thoughts of a cultivator transcend all human understandings, transcend all human thinking, and can never be understood by everyday people. At the same time, they cannot be changed by everyday people, because humans are not able to change Enlightened Beings.” (“Coercion cannot change people's hearts” in Essentials for Further Advancement II).
I stuffed the three pockets of my brother's down jacket with 150 DVDs and had slightly more than 100 DVDs in my bag. In my travel bag, I had packed nearly 2000 truth clarification brochures.
At the time, there were very few truth clarification brochures in this big city. Whenever possible, I went to high class residential districts to give out the brochures. The security doors were tightly locked but I had no notion in my mind and with a pull, I opened the doors. Sometimes, I sent righteous thoughts facing the security door of a small district: “Security door, your function is to keep out burglars but I am here to save people including you!” This was very effective. Sometimes I faced the tightly locked door and asked for Master's blessings. With a thought in mind: “Open”, the door opened.
Another time, I was posting information about the facts in the entrance to an apartment building. A person was leaning over, quietly reading the information. I finished posting the information and walked a distance before turning back to take a look. He was still there in the same position! I said,“You've been fixed in this state? Then I release you.” With this thought, he walked away.
Sometimes I would clarify the facts to my elder brother. He understood that Dafa is good. I knew that it was just that he was worried about me. One night, after sending righteous thoughts, I wanted to go out. He stopped me saying: “How many more brochures do you have to give out?” I replied: “Not many.” He said: “Give them all out then.” I looked at him puzzled. He said: “I have not slept for half a month. When you finish giving out all the brochures tonight and return home, I will be able to go to sleep then. Be careful!” I said: “Thanks brother.” Standing in front of a notice board in a university, I saw many students not far away. With great care, I posted the last brochure on the notice board.
Walking the Path of Fa Rectification Openly and Nobly, Removing the Attachment to Validating Self
On one occasion, after clarifying the facts about the persecution and getting three people to renounce the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), I encountered a fourth person who was a policeman in his 50s. I greeted him politely and started to explain the facts to him. He could not accept it. I told him to learn more about Dafa and absolutely not to persecute Dafa disciples. Just then, his colleague came and asked him something. I did not pay attention to what they said and walked away without sending righteous thoughts. I walked past a young man sitting on his motorcycle, listening to music. The music suddenly stopped and I heard him say: “The person you mentioned just walked past me!”I became aware that I was being followed. I saw policemen further ahead quickly getting into three police cars. Master said,:
“If your righteous thoughts are truly strong, if you're able to put aside the thought of life and death, and if you're solid and unshakable like diamond, then those evil beings won't dare to touch you...,” (“Touring North America to Teach the Fa”)
I sent forth a powerful thought: “I am doing the most righteous thing in the universe. No being can harm me. The Fa rectifies the Cosmos, the evil is completely eliminated.” The police just stood there and watched me go past them.
Upon returning home, I looked within myself and saw the attachment to zealotry, the mentality of showing off and even thoughts of validating myself within me. Master taught us,
“No matter what happens, one must maintain good xinxing. Only through adhering to Dafa can one be truly right. Whether it is your supernormal abilities or your Unlocking of Gong, you achieve them through practicing cultivation in Dafa.” (Zhuan Falun)
It is extremely dangerous to allow such thoughts to develop further. I continued to send righteous thoughts: “These thoughts are not the real me, eliminate them!” Through subsequent solid cultivation, I thoroughly got rid of these attachments.
Treating My Family Kindly and Awakening Fellow Practitioners
Before the suppression began, during the period of personal cultivation, my whole family and two relatives who stayed with us all year round also started to practice Dafa after seeing the tremendous changes in me after I began practicing. However when the persecution began, things turned around completely. My husband wanted a divorce; my relatives stirred up trouble; my older brother and sister tried to force me to stop practicing. Because of my attachment to sentimentality, I was deeply hurt. Master compassionately helped me overcome the tribulation. He said in “Steadfast, Hongyin II”
“When great is the ordeal, keep steadfast. The will to be diligent never bowed”
I controlled myself and treated those who gave me trouble kindly because I realized that I had attachments I needed to cultivate away. I also had to balance the predestined relationships from past lives. During this period, my husband injured his hand. To protect his hand from the cold, I made him a pair of cotton gloves. Several days later, his legs swelled up. I spent half the night making him a pair of cotton shoes. He was touched by what I did and five years ago he started to cultivate Dafa again.
Several years ago a practitioner was illegally arrested for clarifying the facts. She subsequently escaped and became misled by fake scriptures. I managed to find where she was and went to see her at her relative's place. She was severely ill. I shared with her my understandings on the Fa principles and analyzed the inconsistencies in the fake scripture. I had one thought: “I must save her. Please help me Master!” I read the fake scripture and used Master's teachings to help her see through the incorrect viewpoints in it. She listened to what I told her and cried in repentance. I took her home and we studied the Fa and did the exercises together for several days. She found her attachment to fear and seeking comfort. I helped her find a Fa study group and she remains a steadfast practitioner to this day, diligently doing the three things.
Clarifying the Truth Wisely and Saving Sentient Beings With Compassion
Master said:
“Dafa disciples, don't forsake the magnificent responsibility that has been bestowed upon you in Fa-rectification, and even less should you disappoint those beings, as you are now their only hope for entering the future. For this reason, all Dafa disciples, students both new and veteran, should get to work and begin comprehensively clarifying the truth. This is especially so for the Dafa disciples in Mainland China: each must come out and clarify the truth, bringing it to every field and valley, mountain and hill, not omitting a single area where there are people.” (“Let go of human attachments and save the world's people”)
Those who I come into contact with from all strata of society are people I have to clarify the truth to.
Once I chatted with a man who was fishing. He was in his 50s. When I tried to clarify the facts to him, he told me to go away and refused to listen to what I said. He took out his cell phone and said he would report me to the police. I smiled and my heart was not moved. I changed the topic and chatted about fishing. Very naturally, I was able to talk about the poisoned rice and poisoned powdered milk tragedies. He kept listening to me with his head lowered. I told him that for many years, the CCP has indoctrinated Chinese people with the Party culture leading them to no longer believe in retribution and the existence of Gods and Buddhas. He suddenly raised his head and asked: “Are all Dafa disciples as kind as you are?” I replied: “There are tens of thousands of Dafa disciples and they are all saving sentient beings. I am saving too few people.” He was very moved and told me his last name was Li and he worked in a government department. He asked me to help him quit the CCP organizations and thanked me for telling him the truth about Falun Gong and the persecution.
On another occasion, I met a young university student. I clarified the facts to him in a few sentences and he quit the CCP. He had joined just two months prior. I also met a young police officer who promised not to persecute Dafa disciples and to remember that Falun Dafa is good. I turned around and saw a woman sitting on the roadside. I went over to her and clarified the facts. She renounced the CCP and told me she once practiced Falun Gong. I asked her why she stopped. She said that she had a problem in her vertebra and every time she did the exercises, her vertebra hurt. I explained to her that Master was cleansing her body and told her to study the Fa thoroughly. She nodded and smiled. I met a farmer who asked me for directions to the nearest bus station. I took him to the bus station and clarified the facts to him along the way. This farmer listened to me and got his whole family of three to quit the CCP organizations.
Once, I overheard two men selling fruit on the roadside criticizing Falun Gong. I walked up to them and on the pretext of buying fruit, started a conversation. It turned out that they found a banknote with a Falun Dafa message written on it, but could not accept it. I clarified the facts to them and asked them to renounce the CCP organizations. They told me their family members who practiced Falun Gong had helped them quit the CCP organizations already.
My greatest understanding is when I study the Fa well, my whole body is immersed in the Fa. From inside to outside, every thought comes from a high realm and shines with the light of truth, eliminating all evil beings. I acted according to Master's requirements of Dafa disciples during the Fa Rectification period and constantly looked within myself, cultivating well to save even more people.
Let's not let Master down and be as diligent as when we first started to cultivate Dafa. Let's step out of humanity into Godhood amidst Master's mighty virtue.
