(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in ten cities or counties in eight provinces. In this report, twenty practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least eleven practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Harbin, Heilongjiang Province] Current Situation of Seven Practitioners Recently Arrested

On October 4, 2011, Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Zhang Baosheng, Mr. Zhao Yu'an, Mr. Wang Jinyu, and Mr. Wang Weidong were transferred from A'Cheng District Second Detention Center to A'Cheng District First Detention Center. Ms. Han Bing, Ms. Li Xuelian, and Ms. Cheng Baoying were transferred from A'Cheng District Second Detention Center to the Harbin Detention Center.

2. [Shuangcheng, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Pan Mingyue Still Detained

On September 20, 2011, Ms. Pan Mingyue from Xinxing Township, Shuangcheng, was arrested at home. Chen Yuzhuang, Xinxing Township Police Station director, and Wang Yubiao, deputy chief, Shuangcheng Domestic Security Division, took Ms. Pan to the Shuangcheng Detention Center. She has been detained for 15 days, at the time of report.

3. [Tieling, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Shuxia Arrested

On the morning of October 8, 2011, Ms. Zhang Shuxia from Qinghe District, Tieling, was arrested at home. Her home was searched and her Falun Dafa books were confiscated by the following personnel:

4. [Zaozhuang, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Jinling Arrested

Ms. Zhang Jinling from Shanting District, Zaozhuang, in her 40's, was working at an office in Shanting District Agricultural Bank on September 9, 2011, when she was arrested by officers from the Tenzhou Domestic Security Division and the Shanting District Domestic Security Division. At the time of this report, she has been held for almost a month at the Yuelou Detention Center in Zaozhuang.

5. [Nancheng County, Jiangxi Province] Three Falun Dafa Practitioners Remain Unlawfully Held in Detention Center

On April 8, 2011, practitioners in Nancheng County were studying Falun Dafa teachings together when the chief and deputy chief of the Domestic Security Division, Wang Hua and Liu Hongmei, led a group of officers and broke into the host practitioner's house. The officers confiscated printers and 16,000 yuan (~USD $2,300). A month later, five of the practitioners were released. Currently, Ms. Ao Guiying, Ms. Jiang Youxiang, and Ms. Guan Shui'e are still being illegally detained in a detention center.

6. [Baoding, Hebei Province] Mr. Song Guobin Arrested

On October 7, 2011, agents and officers from the Baoding 610 Office and Domestic Security Division broke into Mr. Song Guobin's house. They arrested him and confiscated his computer. Mr. Song is currently being held in a police station.

7. [Baoding, Hebei Province] Ms. Qi Shuying Arrested

Ms. Qi Shuying taught at Baoding University in Hebei Province. On October 7, 2011, she was arrested by officers from the Beishi District Public Security Bureau in Baoding.

Ms. Qi's husband, Mr. Liu Yongwang is also a practitioner. He was illegally sentenced to eight years of imprisonment, and is currently being held in Jidong Prison.

8. [Jianyang, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Huabin Arrested

On September 17, 2011, Ms. Li Huabin from Guihua Village, Xinhe Township, Jianyang, was shopping in Pingwu Town. She played a Falun Dafa CD to test the quality of the television she wanted to buy; however, someone informed the police that she was a Falun Gong practitioner, and officers from Pingwu Town arrested her. Her whereabouts are unknown.

9. [Baoding, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Lidong Arrested

On October 7, 2011, Wang Qing, secretary of Zhangmazhuang Village, Ranzhuang Town, Qingyuan County, Baoding, officers from the Qingyuan County Domestic Security Division and officials from Ranzhuang Town broke into Mr. Zhang Lidong's house. They confiscated his Falun Dafa books and CDs. Mr. Zhang was taken to the Qingyuan County Domestic Security Division where he was subjected to torture.

11. [Shiyan, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhang Long Arrested

On October 8, 2011, Mr. Zhang Long was arrested and taken to the Shiyan Brainwashing Center.

12. [Beijing] Police Arrest Two Practitioners

Married couple Ms. Liu Min and Mr. Feng Gulai both worked at a coke-making chemical plant in Beijing. Officers from Haidian District in Beijing arrested them separately on October 4 and 5, 2011. The couple is currently being held in Houshaxing Detention Center, Haidian District.

13. [Shantou, Guangdong Province] Mr. Cai Chunpeng Taken to Detention Center, Other Practitioners Held in Detention Centers and Brainwashing Centers

On September 23, 2011, police arrested Mr. Cai Chunpeng from Chenghai District, Shantou while he was distributing Falun Dafa fliers, and then searched his house. Mr. Cai is currently being held in the Baisha Detention Center in Chenghai District.

Currently, Mr. Xu Daoming, Ms. Xu Yixiang, Ms. Cai Yuechan, and Ms. Cai Yuchang are being held in Tuopu Detention Center in Shantou. Ms. Wu Peijuan, Mr. Chen Shaoliang, and Ms. Li Zuojun are being held in the Shantou Brainwashing Center; Mr. Cai Chunpeng and Mr. Xu Chuhua are being held in the Baisha Detention Center in Chenghai District.
