Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand: Chinese People Are Becoming More Receptive to Information about Quitting the CCP

Dec. 10, 2011 |   By a volunteer at a service center to quit the CCP

(Clearwisdom.net) Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand are popular destinations for Chinese tourists year round. Among the tourist sites in these countries, Malacca in Malaysia is especially popular. While enjoying beautiful scenery, tourists also learn the facts about the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s persecution of Falun Gong and the historic movement to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

This is the seventh anniversary of the publication of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, and more and more people have come to know the truth from reading it. Chinese tourists, tour guides, and local people have gradually become more receptive, as volunteers of the service center for quitting CCP continue their efforts to explain the facts to Chinese people and encourage them to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

A young couple on their honeymoon once came to a tourist site. One of the volunteers explained the facts to them and said, “You seem to love each other very much. There is a saying, 'Mountain and water accompany each other for a long time.' Let me give you pseudonyms meaning 'mountain' and 'water' to use to make your withdrawals from the CCP's affiliated organizations. Then you will have a bright future together.” The young couple happily withdrew from the CCP organizations and thanked the volunteer.

A volunteer said, “Compared with a few years ago, Chinese people are now much more receptive. Those that object are rare. More and more people come to learn the facts. More and more people come to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Some people appear indifferent, but then they ask for informational materials, including the Nine Commentaries.”

Some Chinese tourists already know the facts, but due to fear, they ask to withdraw from the CCP in a hurry or quickly put informational materials in their pockets and leave, pretending nothing happened.

Once a new tour guide who did not know the facts came and kept members of his tour group from taking informational materials. A volunteer told the tourists, “You take a tour and need to know your money is being well spent. When you cross the street, you need to look left and right. Today you have come here, and you also need to know more information. Look at the display boards with the information about the CCP and Falun Gong and learn the facts. Then you can discern right from wrong. All these informational materials are free. If you cannot take them back to China, you can leave them in your hotel after you read them.”

Since then, the tour guide has understood. When he brought new groups, he did not interfere with them taking informational materials. When his tourists learned the facts, he stood aside, smiling.
