(Clearwisdom.net) I have practiced Falun Gong since 1995 and have been able to do the three things as Master requires. But I'm still not up to par, and this is why I was recently arrested.
Arrested by Police
In the summer of 2010, when former Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader Jiang Zeming visited our local area, the local police escalated the persecution of practitioners. About thirty practitioners were arrested, and some of their homes were searched. On October 13, 2010, I went to a practitioner’s home and was notified by her relatives that she had been arrested. She successfully escaped from the police station. I wanted to let the other practitioners know of this incident right away and didn't realize that a police officer had followed me. Two practitioners - A and B - and I were arrested when I visited them at home. The police also ransacked our homes.
Displaying Righteous Thoughts and Actions
To our surprise we remained calm and did not panic. At the police station we were separated, threatened, and individually interrogated. Nevertheless, we used this opportunity to clarify the facts. Practitioner A told a police official of the stone with words carved in Guizhou," that the “Tiananmen Immolation Incident" was staged, and that Jiang’s regime had committed many crimes. It wasn't long before that police official hurriedly stood up, looked fearful and thought aloud, “That was terrible!” He left the room and didn't show up again. We wondered why he looked so scared in broad daylight.
Practitioner B showed great compassion to the police and told them that Dafa practitioners were good people, and that Falun Gong was being persecuted. Hearing the facts touched the policemen’s hearts. It took no time at all and practitioners A and B left the police station without being charged.
I stepped forward for Dafa from the beginning and questioned the police about why they arrested me, since I had done nothing wrong, and there are no written laws stating that Dafa practitioners are criminals. "Do you know that people worldwide know that Falun Gong is good? People in more than 100 countries practice Falun Gong." Like A and B, I asked him if he had seen the carved stone in Guizhou Province, and told him that the gods want eliminate the CCP. I said, "You are still young! Don’t walk to a dead end and be fooled by the CCP. You have to believe that good is being rewarded with good, and evil is met with evil. You should know that Falun Gong is good, and you will have a good fortune if you treat practitioners well."
The police could not get any valuable information from me, but ordered me to sign several forms, and I refused. I told them, “If you want me to sign the form, I will write that Falun Gong is good!” They eventually took the forms away. My mind was firm. I thought that I must not let them take advantage of me. This was not the place for practitioners, and I knew I should go home today. I was released at 6:00 p.m.
Retrieving the Dafa Book
The book Zhuan Falun is the ladder to heaven, as Master has said. There is no reason for police to withhold that book, and I knew I should get the book back. Initially I hesitated and was fearful. I returned to the police station and sent righteous thoughts in the hallway. I felt that Master was looking after me, and I became as big as a mountain, with the police station as small as a matchbox in front of me, as the evil elements were dissolving.
I went to the police station three times and told the officers what a treasure that book was for Dafa practitioners, and that it was not a common book. As a practitioner, I could see multiple colors and words that appeared as Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. The officers were touched by what I said. Finally I had the Dafa book back, as well as a DVD player. Although I didn't get all my confiscated items back, I did what a Dafa practitioner should do. I was grateful that Master had given me wisdom and courage.
From this arrest incident and the process of getting the Dafa book back, all three of us have followed what Master has taught us,
“Compassion can harmonize Heaven and Earth, ushering in spring
Righteous thoughts can save the people in this world”

We told people the facts whenever there was a problem. A police station is a tool used by the CCP to persecute Dafa practitioners and should thus be the right place to expose the facts. Police officers, as persecution tools, may not know the facts and also need to be saved. Once we compassionately present them with facts, their conscience will emerge and they might agree with what we say.
As soon as they learned the facts they were impressed with what Dafa practitioners had done and saw hope. Most of the officers started changing their attitudes. When I went to the police station later on, they greeted me with smiles.
The CCP's evil activities have recently been exposed. People with conscience recognized their evil side, although they did not say so. The CCP has been isolated. Dafa's cultivation environment has rapidly improved. Practitioners who have not been involved in the Fa-rectification process: please step forward. As Master reminds us, time waits for no one. Do the three things, and do everything according to Master and Dafa.
