(Clearwisdom.net) On March 7, 2011, police from Shuangchang City in Heilongjiang Province broke into Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Li Yueping's house and searched it. His son tried to stop them but was accused of attacking the police.
Mr. Li lives in Qunfuzhi Village, Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province. At 10 p.m. on March 7, 2011 while he was sleeping, a group of policemen suddenly entered his yard and blocked the front and back doors. They then kicked the doors. Mr. Li's wife refused to open the door, but the police kept on kicking. When she had no choice but to open the door because they were breaking it down, thirteen officers rushed in and shoved Mr. Li down, restraining him. They ransacked his house, searching through everything, and confiscated a new DVD player, computer and MP3 player, as well as other things. Mr. Li's wife asked the police what kind of crime her husband had committed, and she asked to see their IDs. They ignored her and forcibly took Mr. Li away.
One short policeman even broke into the son's room. He broke open a locked box and searched everywhere. At that time, the son was only wearing his underwear, and tried to stop him. It was cold and he was so angry that he was shivering. His wife dragged him back into their room. The son was so terrified he cried.
The next day, Mr. Li's daughter went to the police station to request that her father be released. Xiao Jitian, the Domestic Security Division head, twisted the story around and said, “Your family attacked the police and hindered them from performing their task.”
However, it was the police who broke into the house without showing any legal documents. They forcibly took the father away, and confiscated the family's personal belongings. They still have not given any reason why, have shown no legal documents and haven't allowed the family to see the father.
Li Yueping's wife is 60 years old. In the past, she suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and became immobilized. She couldn't talk and her whole body was paralyzed. She told her family that she could no longer feel anything, as though her arms had been cut off. Her family had to feed her and help her use the toilet. Her children were so worried that they were always upset and crying. In the spring of 1997, Li Yueping's wife was introduced to Falun Gong. Since the first day when she listened to Master's lecture, she miraculously recovered. She could speak and move her arms and legs. She could not only take care of herself but also did the housework. Her family was grateful to Master Li Hongzhi and supported her practicing Falun Gong.
After Mr. Li witnessed how his wife was miraculously cured, he also began practicing Falun Gong. He got rid of many bad habits: smoking, drinking, cursing. The entire family was very happy, healthy and harmonious.
