(Clearwisdom.net) Retired engineer Mr. Zhou Yinhe of Xinzhou District, Wuhan enjoyed good health after beginning to practice Falun Gong. However, he was frequently harassed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) after the persecution started in 1999. Mr. Zhou passed away on May 19, 2010.

Mr. Zhou had severe stomach disease and also frequently had a bloody nose. After practicing Falun Gong, all these illnesses were gone and he enjoyed good health.

Since the CCP started persecuting Falun Gong in July 1999, Mr. Zhou's wife endured ongoing persecution tactics, including illegal arrest, detainment, forced labor, deprivation of salary, and being monitored at home. Their home was frequently ransacked. For such a honest, introverted, and timid person, the frequent harassment brought a lot of mental pressure to Mr. Zhou. He spoke very little after the harassment began.

On December 31, 2007, he had symptoms of a stroke and was taken to the Union Hospital at Wuhan. He stayed in the Intensive Care Unit for seven days, and was subsequently moved to a regular room. Twenty days later, he was released by the hospital. At home, he recovered quickly by studying the Fa and doing Falun Gong exercises. He was able to go upstairs and downstairs, go to the bathroom with a walking stick, and maintain a clear mind.

At 9 a.m. on September 27, 2009, his wife went out shopping. Mr. Zhou stayed at home with their housemaid. He sat in his wheelchair to watch Teacher's Fa Lecture at Dalian City, Liaoning Province. Cai Juan, the deputy director of the Zhucheng Judicial Office, Xinzhou District led several staff members of the residential neighborhood committee to his home. Cai pretended to be his wife's student to trick the housemaid to open the door. Then they stormed in. Without a search warrant, they started ransacking the house. The housemaid couldn't stop them. They confiscated Dafa books and many personal belongings, including the VCD that Mr. Zhou was watching. They threatened to take pictures of Mr. Zhou, leaving him in great mental shock.

At 9 a.m. on September 30, 2009, several policemen from Zhucheng Police Station drove to his home to threaten him again. A few days later, Mr. Zhou fell on the ground; he couldn't concentrate after being threatened. He remained bedridden since that episode.

Around the Chinese New Year of 2010, Cai Juan led a group of people to his home to harass him again. He became more and more mentally unstable. At 9 p.m. on May 19, 2010, Mr. Zhou passed away.
