(Clearwisdom.net) Attorney Mr. Wang Zhansuo, from Huangdao District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province, was the deputy president of the Intermediate Court of the Seventh Division of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. Because he practices Falun Gong and strives to be a good person, he and his family were illegally arrested by the police on March 4, 2010, and detained in Huangdao Detention Center. On October 26, 2010, he was secretly tried and sentenced to four years in prison.

Mr. Wang was detained at the Huangdao Detention Center for ten months after being arrested. The detention center took him to Jinan Prison in mid-January 2011, however during a health exam at the prison, Mr. Huang was found to have a tumor in his liver, therefore the prison refused to accept him. Staff at the Huangdao Detention Center had to take him back. By that time, Mr. Wang was extremely skinny and weak from torture. He had difficulty eating and could hardly walk. His retinal disease, which had been cured after practicing Falun Gong, returned, and he was in danger of becoming blind.
Mr. Wang’s family asked the Huangdao Political and Legal Committee (610 Office) and the Huangdao Detention Center to let them take him home for medical treatment, but they were not answered. On February 22, the detention center sent Mr. Huang to Jinan Prison despite his illnesses. The prison then put him in a brainwashing session, with the purpose of forcing him to give up his beliefs.

Mr. Wang’s wife Ms. Song Jiling and son Mr. Wang Xia were also arrested on March 4, 2010. Ms. Song developed high blood pressure at the detention center and was later released. Mr. Wang Xia was also released in April 2010.
