(Clearwisdom.net) After its extremely long journey, the cosmos has entered the dharma-ending period. Because Master came down for Fa-rectification, we entered the Three Realms, the lowest level in the cosmos, and became human beings. As human beings, our xinxing is at the level of human beings, so we have to ascend through cultivation. Oftentimes, I hear practitioners complaining about the difficulty of cultivation. However, we are beings facing destruction because our xinxing has degenerated so much. Had Master not started Fa-rectification, we would have already been destroyed.
The busy environment around us in everyday society causes some practitioners to consider the difficulties encountered as being unfair. However, if one chooses to stay in ordinary society, he or she is heading towards destruction along with everyday people. That is why we cannot measure ourselves with the principles of an ordinary society that has completely degenerated. It is Dafa that has given us this unprecedented opportunity to ascend and become divine beings through cultivation. Isn’t this enough to make us clear about why we are here?
Moreover, Master has endured for us the majority of our karmic debt, and there is only a tiny bit left for us to forbear, through which we are actually ascending in cultivation. We are very fortunate, and this is unprecedented. Master does not have karma, and yet is enduring for us huge suffering that is beyond human imagination. In addition, Master has given us the best of everything. For us, there is only a tiny bit left and we can make it as long as we have righteous thoughts. How can we still complain?
In the gigantic cosmos, the process of entering the Three Realms level by level until reaching the human world is considered a journey of self-destruction. Therefore, the cultivation of every practitioner is a process of death and rebirth. The process of the Fa-rectification of the cosmos involves the life and death of countless numbers of gigantic cosmic bodies. From Fa-study, we know that if a being cannot be saved, their complete destruction is a lengthy process—on the order of a cosmic time scale. We know that one day's suffering of illness in human life is hard to endure, so can we imagine the endless pain of complete destruction one has to suffer on a cosmic time scale?
Throughout cosmic life, beings—including us—have deviated from the Fa and many are even close to the opposite side. During cultivation, the complaints to Dafa and Master are the manifestation of lives deviating from Dafa. Master’s boundless compassion has given us an opportunity to be reborn, and given us chances again and again. If we do not cherish it, then we are beyond forgiveness.
