(Clearwisdom.net) A dozen practitioners from Cao County, Shandong Province were recently illegally sentenced to forced labor. Zhao Wenxing, Sun Hongru, and Jiang Xuejun were each sentenced to one year and six months. Ge Xiurong, Tao Ping, and Liang Ping were sentenced to two years of forced labor. These practitioners are currently detained in Jinan Forced Labor Camp.
On July 14, 2010, around 5 p.m., more than thirty policemen from the Domestic Security Division, led by Wang Xia, broke into Sun Guodong's home by using a ladder and other tools. They took away a car-load of his personal possessions, including his computer, printer and Dafa books. Mr. Sun Guodong, his wife Tao Ping, and his daughter Sun Hongru were illegally arrested but Sun Guodong later escaped. The police subsequently arrested his son Sun Hongguang. Later on, while he was making a phone call on his cell phone, Sun Guodong's whereabouts were tracked down and he was taken into custody again.
Wang Xia brought nine police officers to Yu Zhiliang's house and took away two computers, a DVD player, MP3 players, Dafa books and other personal belongings. Yu Zhiliang and his wife Yuan Peiling were arrested. At the same time, the homes of Zhao Wenxing and Liang Ping were ransacked and computer equipment, Dafa books and other belongings were taken away. The police arrested Zhao Wenxing, his wife Ge Xiurong, Liang Ping and her husband Liu Yujiang, who is not a practitioner.
These practitioners were taken to the police station and tortured. Around 11 p.m., the practitioners were taken separately to Louzhuang, Zhuangzai and Taoyuan Township Police Stations. Three days later, female practitioners Yuan Zhiling, Ge Xiurong, Tao Ping and Sun Hongru were detained in Heze City for a month. Jiang Xuejun was arrested and lost three teeth as a result of beatings by the police.
A month later, Tao Ping, Sun Hongru, Jiang Xuejun, Zhao Wenxing, Ge Xiurong and Liang Ping were sent to Jinan Forced Labor Camp. Yuan Peiling is on bail awaiting trial. Ge Xiurong became ill after 18 days of detention in the labor camp and was subsequently placed on medical parole.
Sun Guodong and Yu Zhiliang are detained in Cao County Detention Center. On January 29, 2010, they were illegally tried in Cao County. During the trial, their family members were prohibited from entering the court nor were they permitted to engage a lawyer. Both of the practitioners were shackled and handcuffed. They appeared emaciated and gaunt. The verdict was not announced that day. A year later, on January 29, 2011, information was released that Sun Guodong and Yu Zhiliang had been sentenced to five and four years of prison, respectively.
Police officer Wang Xia brought three officers to Gao Menghua's house on December 4, 2010, at 8 a.m. They took away her belongings and arrested her. She was detained for one month. On January 22, 2011, Wang Xia again ransacked Yu Xiaoling's house and arrested her. That same afternoon, Yuan Peiling was arrested as well. However, the next day, she was put on medical parole.
