(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Xia was arrested on March 15, 2011. Her family's home was ransacked on the same day. According to insider information, she was tortured during interrogation at the Hangjin Houqi Detention Center. Policeman Chi hit her head violently, causing her severe pain. Her face became swollen and disfigured.
This is the third time that Ms. Wang has been illegally imprisoned. In 2001, she was sentenced to seven years in the Inner Mongolia No. 1 Women’s Prison, in Hohhot City. Because she refused to give up her belief in Falun Dafa, she was tortured, including being beaten, electrically shocked, sexually assaulted with a mop stick in her vagina, pins were inserted into her fingernails, and she was burned, among other forms of torture. She held a hunger strike to protest the torture. The police then put her in a mental hospital to torture her in a different way. She suffered from amnesia as a result.

By June 2004, Ms. Wang was so skinny that she was skeletal. She couldn’t move and was losing her memory. She was often in a comatose state. Seeing that she was dying, the prison let her parents take her home.
