(Clearwisdom.net) The Spaceflight 7111 Factory is located at 198 Chang'an Road, Liucheng Town, Wenjiang District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. The management of the factory closely follows the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) directive of “economically depriving” practitioners. This policy is bankrupting practitioners who work at the factory, struggling for survival, and are living close to the poverty line. The following are details about the factory's financial persecution of some practitioners.
1. Practitioner Ms. Wang Meizhen
In March and April 2000, practitioner Ms. Wang Meizhen was illegally arrested and detained at the Wenjiang Detention Center for fifteen days.
Jia Youngfu, former Party secretary of the Spaceflight 7111 Factory, fined Ms. Wang 3,800 yuan, of which, 3,000 yuan was the factory's fine and 800 yuan was a fine to be paid by the factory's managers due to the CCP's implication policy, but taken from Ms. Wang. The factory also withheld her salary for a year, which came to around 6,000 yuan. Ms. Wang was paid only 242 yuan a month.
In the second half of 2001, Ms. Wang went to Beijing to appeal for the right to practice Falun Gong. She was arrested by the factory's police on her way to Beijing. The police stole over 20,000 yuan that she had with her, which was for airfare and incidentals. They detained her at the Wenjiang Detention Center for fifteen days. When she returned to the factory, the factory fined her 31,000 yuan.
Ms. Wang Meizhen was deprived of 60,800 yuan.
2. Practitioner Ms. Huang Yingbi
From May 2000 to May 2001, the factory withheld Ms. Huang Yingbi's pension. From January 2009 to March 2011, the factory withheld a portion of her pension and other benefits.
3. Practitioner Ms. Tang Shifeng
In 2000, Ms. Tang Shifeng was arrested at a park for doing Falun Gong exercises. Her section chiefs were fined 1,200 yuan due to the CCP's implication policy. The factory then made her pay the fine. She was also fined 3,000 yuan by the factory police station.
In 2000, the factory withheld her salary for nine months, totaling 8,937 yuan; in 2001, the factory withheld her salary for the whole year, for a total of 11,916 yuan; in 2002, the factory withheld her salary for five months, for a total of 6,625 yuan; in 2002, the factory also withheld 700f her salary for two months, totaling 1,325 yuan.
In total, they withheld 33,003 yuan from Ms. Tang.
4. Practitioner Mr. Kan Zongquan
Practitioner Mr. Kan Zongquan, 71, is a retired engineer.
From May 2000 to May 2001, the factory withheld Mr. Kan's pension and also fined him 3,000 yuan. In November 2008, the factory confiscated his personal property – an all-in-one printer/copier. Between November 2009 and March 2011, the factory withheld part of his pension and benefits.
Factory officials told Mr. Kan that only after he wrote a guarantee statement would he get his money and personal property back.
5. Practitioner Mr. Yang Jianzhong
Practitioner Mr. Yang Jianzhong, 73, is a nationally renowned engineer who has made great contributions to China's space program. After he began practicing Falun Gong, all his diseases disappeared. He was able to save a lot of medical expenses for the factory.
Mr. Yang was arrested however, and his home was ransacked many times after the CCP started persecuting Falun Gong. He was detained at the Wenjiang Detention Center for thirty days three times, and at the Xinjin Brainwashing Center twice for a total of 191 days. The factory managers fined him 20,000 yuan and withheld his salary for two years. His retirement benefits were also withheld.
