An Incomplete List of Practitioners Sentenced To Prison and Forced Labor Terms
1. Ms. Xiang Dongqin, a practitioner and resident of Honghuatao Town, Yidu City, was sentenced to one year of forced labor in 2000 and detained at the Shayang Forced Labor Camp. She was later arrested by plainclothes officials from the local Domestic Security Team, and officers from the Lucheng Town Police Station when she was grocery shopping at a local market while distributing postcards with “Falun Dafa is Good” written on them. She was detained at the Yidu Detention Center and later sentenced to three years in prison.
2. Mr. Zhao Jucai, a practitioner and resident of Honghuatao Town, Yidu, was sentenced twice to forced labor terms of one and two years, respectively. He was arrested again in 2006 while talking to people about Falun Gong, and sentenced to seven years in prison. His personal computer and printer were confiscated.
3. Mr. Deng Yong, practitioner and employee of the General Machinery Factory in Lucheng, Yidu, was sentenced to one year of forced labor in 2000 for going to Beijing and speaking out for Falun Gong. In 2004, he was sentenced again to four years in prison. His personal computer and printer were confiscated.
4. Mr. Qiu Lifeng, practitioner and employee of the General Machinery Factory in Lucheng, Yidu, was detained multiple times in 2000-2001. He was sentenced to three years in prison in 2004.
5. Mr. Xiao Gang, practitioner and resident of Yaojiadian Township of Yidu, was sentenced to two years of forced labor.
6. Mr. Li Jiqiang, practitioner and resident of Lucheng, Yidu, was sentenced to one year of forced labor in 2000 for going to Beijing to speak out for Falun Gong. He was sentenced to three years in prison in 2004.
7. Mr. Liu Huadong, practitioner and resident of Lucheng, Yidu, was sentenced to three years in prison in 2004.
8. Mr. Wang, a teacher and practitioner of Gaobaozhou Town, Yidu, was sentenced to one year of forced labor in 2000.
