4. A Hunched Back Straightens Overnight
Dafa practitioner Sanjie invited her sister-in-law, her nephew and his wife from the rural countryside to spend a few days at her home. She wanted to take the opportunity to tell them about Dafa and clarify the truth.
Sanjie's sister-in-law was in her seventies. She had been a child bride and led a very hard life that left her with a 90 degree hunched back. Once they arrived at Sanjie's home, Sanjie started telling them about Falun Dafa. Her nephew and his wife agreed to withdraw their membership in CCP organizations. Her sister-in-law was interested in practicing Falun Dafa. Sanjie had her sister-in-law listen to Master's lectures. They then went to visit Erjie (Sanjie's older sister). Erjie's whole family practiced Dafa.
That day, more family and fellow practitioners came to see Sanjie's sister-in-law. They studied Fa, shared their thoughts, and sang Dafa songs. They were immersed in happiness. Time passed quickly. It was already dawn. To everyone's astonishment, Sanjie's sister-in-law grew taller. Her hunched back had become straight. Everyone was very emotional, and Sanjie's sister-in-law remarked that Dafa is magical. Master was able to straighten her hunched back in one night. With tears in their eyes, everyone pressed their hands together in respect and thanked Master Li.
5. Renewed Health for Cancer Patient Who Practices Falun Dafa
Ms. Zhang is 68 years old, she looks barely sixty. She is agile and healthy, always in a cheerful mood. No one can tell from looking at her that she once had cancer.
Before practicing Falun Dafa, Ms. Zhang was in business and was very successful. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992. She had surgery at a major hospital by experienced specialist and underwent treatment for four years until the cancer had finally spread all over her body. She had large lymph nodes all over her neck and shoulders.
Ms. Zhang's neighbor practiced Falun Gong. One day, she visited Ms. Zhang and told her about Dafa. Ms. Zhang saw hope and insisted on learning Dafa. The neighbor took Ms. Zhang to her home. It was strange that even though she was unable to walk at the time, she still somehow managed to get to her neighbor's home.
Once Ms. Zhang saw Master's picture, she started to cry and wanted to practice Dafa. Ms. Zhang then started to learn Falun Gong. She believed in Master and Dafa when Master was cleansing her body and eliminating her karma. She behaved in accordance to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, elevated her xinxing and considered others first. Ms. Zhang's condition improved, the symptoms of her cancer eventually disappeared and she began to enjoy a new life.
Today, Ms. Zhang looks young, is in good spirits and is talkative. She tells everyone about the beauty of Dafa and the tremendous benefits it has brought her.
6. Bone Cancer Patient Gains New Life After Cultivating Dafa
Ms. Li is 44 years old. In 2004, she had unbearable bone pain, and the diagnosis was bone cancer. At that time, she had no husband, and her two children were still young. She did not even have enough money for one round of chemotherapy. She went home and tried some traditional Chinese medicine. Eventually, she was bedridden because of the pain.
Ms. Li's son had heard about Falun Gong. He talked to Ms. Li about practicing Falun Gong, and told her that many people have said Falun Gong has magical power. Ms. Li agreed.
Her son invited Falun Gong practitioners to study Fa with his mother. Ms. Li's bone pain got better after just a few days. A few more days later, she was able to crawl on the floor to open the door. Eventually, Ms. Li was able to walk, do the exercises and go to group study at fellow practitioners' homes. Two months after Ms. Li started practicing Falun Gong, she was able to make a Chinese New Year feast for her children and celebrate the holiday. Ms. Li thanks Dafa and Master Li for giving her a second life. She is now healthy and doing the three things with her fellow practitioners.
7. A Story of Two Sisters
The older sister had rheumatism. Her hands were deformed and she was unable to bend them. She also had pain in her legs, which she was also unable to bend. She was unable to use the bathroom by herself or to care for herself. She used to be a tall, pretty and happy girl, but after getting rheumatism, her bones deformed and she became shorter.
The younger sister had colleagues who practiced Falun Gong. They told her that Falun Gong is extremely powerful at curing illness. To help her older sister, she started practicing Falun Gong; she felt Falun spinning, her migraines and diabetes got better. The younger sister took Master's picture and the book Zhuan Falun to her older sister and told her that she now has hope. The older sister put Master's picture next to her bed. She saw Master's fashen that night.
As the older sister was practicing the first exercise, she heard her bones popping. The lumps on her hands were gone after a few days, her pain was relieved. Slowly, she was able to use chopsticks to eat, tie her belt, and take care of herself. Eight months after the older sister started practicing Falun Gong, she was able to carry a propane canister up and down the stairs. The older sister had returned to her old self, she looked taller, prettier and was very happy. The changes in her health were witness by her family and neighbors; they saw the beauty and divine power of Dafa.
8. Stories of an Elderly Woman and a Child
Ms. Cao is in her seventies. Her daughter had asthma, which was cured after she started practicing Dafa. Ms. Cao's husband's cerebellum had atrophied; he, too, was cured after practicing Dafa. Ms. Cao had heart problems, so after she saw her husband and daughter's illnesses cured, she started practicing Falun Gong.
In the beginning, Master cleaned her body, she threw-up blood from 10 o'clock at night until 3 o'clock in the morning. Her husband told her that was a good thing, that Master was taking care of her and cleaning her body. Ms. Cao knew it was a good thing also. After she got rid of the bad things in her body, her head felt clear, her big belly got smaller and her body felt light. Ms. Cao firmly believed in Dafa even after the CCP started persecuting Falun Gong.
In May, 2008, Ms. Cao had the symptoms of heart disease. Her condition worsened after about two weeks, to the point of unconsciousness. Her husband called their daughter. Their daughter told them to come to her home right away. Their daughter propped Ms. Cao up on her bed and put her mother's hands in the position to send righteous thoughts and began herself to send righteous thoughts. She called her mother's name and said: “You cannot go, Fa rectification has not ended yet, you have not completed your mission of saving the sentient beings. Hurry back so you can return home with Master! Beg for Master's help!” They sent righteous thoughts like this for nearly an hour, Ms. Cao's face had color, she started to sweat, and said: “I am back!” Her daughter suggested to her mother that she continue to send righteous thoughts. Ms. Cao understood the importance of doing so and said she would. They did it for another hour.
Ms. Cao fully recovered and returned to her normal self. Her daughter later guided Ms. Cao to look inward and see how this incident happened, Ms. Cao said: “I did not deny it when the symptoms first appeared. Not only did I not eliminate it, I also said I was not afraid of death.” Both she and her daughter realized the mistake was right there, that the evil would drag her toward death when she said she was not afraid of it. Even though we are not afraid of death, however we can not die, because we still have our missions to save sentient beings. How dangerous? With tears in their eyes, Ms. Cao, her husband and daughter thanked Master.
Young Dafa practitioner Longlong is nine years old. He has been cultivating with his grandmother and mother. In 2009, his school closed for a few days because the illness foot and mouth was wide spread. One morning during the epidemic, he threw-up right after breakfast, then collapsed and became unconscious! His grandmother carried him to bed and called his mother over to send righteous thoughts and ask Master for help. The child still would not breathe after thirty minutes. His mother got scared and started to cry, it had been almost forty minutes. The grandmother suggested maybe they should go to the hospital. The mother asked how they could not trust Master at this crucial time. “Master is here; Fa is here; what are they afraid of?” The mother' righteous thoughts became strong, the grandmother was enlightened too. They knelt in front of Master's photo and sent pure righteous thoughts. The child finally awakened after fifty minutes. He said he had felt countless knives in his body and Master pulled them all out. The child got up and put an apple in front of Master's photo, kowtowed to thank Master. He remembered that Master saved him. He became even more diligent at cultivation and was very fast at distributing truth clarifying materials
9. Injured Back and Hip Cured Within Two Hours of Meditation
Xiaoqing fell while she was cleaning the bathroom at work; she could not move her hip or back. Her colleagues and her husband took her to the hospital. After the x-ray, the hospital wanted to admit her or else she might become paralyzed after 24 hours. Xiaoqing understood she would be fine because she was a cultivator and asked to be taken home right away.
Once she got home, she could not sit so she leaned on the bed. Xiaoqing thought about asking Master for support, that she would be fine and could not just lay there. She asked her husband to help her get in front of Master's photo and said, “Master help me. I must sit down and meditate. I will sit for two hours!” She slowly sat cross-legged, and sweat dropped from her face. She started to do the fifth exercise and meditate. Her husband suggested that she get up after an hour, but she refused, and said that she wanted to sit for two hours, so she had to keep her word. After two hours, Xiaoqing was soaked with sweat. She stood up, and was walking.
Her colleagues went to visit her the next day and saw Xiaoqing cooking in the kitchen. They now understood the reason why so many people would not give up practicing Falun Gong. Xiaoqing clarified the truth about Falun Gong to her colleagues. Many withdrew from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. They witnessed Dafa's divine power and that the things Falun Gong practitioners had said were all true!
10. Reciting “Falun Dafa is Good” Brings Great Fortune
Erhua was arrested because she went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Dafa. Her seventy year old mother did not support her cultivation after she was released from the detention center. The elderly woman had heart failure. Her children found a fortune teller to tell them the fate of their mother. The fortune teller said their mother would not live past that year and that they needed to prepare.
The elderly woman took many medications to preserve her life. She liked to take walks outside, she would take Falun Gong booklets home and read them whenever she saw them on her door. After all the reading, she finally understood that Falun Gong is good, Falun Gong is being persecuted, and why practitioners like her daughter Erhua and others still practice Falun Gong when they are being persecuted.
She learned about Falun Gong's health benefits and was not against Erhua's cultivation anymore. She also took Falun Gong booklets, books and video tapes to her brother-in-law in the country. She encouraged him to cultivate because he had difficulty walking. Since then, the elderly woman's sister's entire family started to cultivate, her brother-in-law's legs got better, he was able to take care of the animals and tend the vegetable garden.
In this way, the elderly woman read Dafa materials often, her health gradually improved, she cooked for her daughter's family and took care her grandchild. Her children were happy that their mother got better and celebrated the new year together. Her oldest daughter wanted to see what the fortune teller had to say about her mother. The fortune teller said that this elderly woman did not die, she had done a great deed, and her life had been extended. The oldest daughter asked her mother what good deed had she done, her mother said: “I just cooked at home everyday, have I done any great deed?” Erhua suddenly remembered, and said it was because her mother had given Dafa materials to her sister's family, that her sister's whole family had great fortune and started practicing Falun Gong. The elderly woman suddenly realized it, she believed in Dafa and recites 'Falun Dafa is good” in her heart often. The elderly woman is seventy nine years old, and still cooks for her daughter.
The above examples are genuine and true events that happened to me and those around me. The incidents of Falun Dafa's miracles and beauty in every way are countless. I only summarized a few on the topic of improving health and curing illness.
