(Clearwisdom.net) In order to commemorate the anniversary of April 25, 1999, peaceful appeal in Beijing, practitioners in Belgium gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy in Brussels. They practiced the Falun Gong exercises and protested the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution.

Practitioner Ms. Pan said in an interview that, “The CCP has corrupted the morality of human society, is a disgrace of mankind. It shouldn't have occurred, and must be stopped. But it is gratifying that more and more people in China and around the world have learned about the truth, and the CCP's lies have been no longer able to deceive people. Moreover, nearly 94 million Chinese people have quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Heavens will definitely punish the wicked and violent organization like the CCP. Practitioners hope more people will become aware of the true situation, condemn the persecution, make a clear stand.”
Practitioners in Belgium hold such activities every year. Coordinator of the Belgian Falun Dafa Association said, “I sincerely hope that one day, we won't need to sit here, and people around the world, including China, can freely practice Falun Gong.”
Background:
On April 25, 1999, over 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners in China gathered outside the State Council Appeals Office to demand their basic rights of belief and the immediate release of 45 fellow practitioners who had been unlawfully arrested. Though as a result of the appeal the Chinese Communist regime promised to protect the practitioners' rights and released the arrested practitioners, three months later, the regime started a nationwide persecution to "eliminate Falun Gong." The brutal persecution has continued for 12 years.
