(Clearwisdom.net) I went to the mountain area in west Hubei Province in March of this year. During my time there, I had the impression that with the progress of the Fa-rectification, the attitudes of sentient beings about quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations have changed tremendously. It was also quite apparent in their attitudes toward Falun Gong. Especially, the people in the mountain area are waiting to be saved, but unfortunately there are not many Dafa disciples in this area.
While I was on the train to Wuhan City, a twenty-year-old young man who sat beside me began a conversation with me about all the ugly deeds of former CCP head Mao Zedong. Therefore, I embraced this opportunity and talked about the crimes the CCP has committed in the past and at present. When I talked about the Tiananmen Square Self-Immolation and the great tide of withdrawing from the CCP, he asked me: “Are you a Party member?” I told him: “I used to be one, but I quit a long time ago.” He said: “Seems like now is the time for me to quit as well.” Then he turned around and asked another elderly man if he was a Party member. It turned out that this man had also quit the CCP.
I took the wrong train at Hankou Station and arrived at a village at 9:00 p.m. Because I needed to take another train in order to get to my destination and no more trains were leaving that day, I stayed at a farmer's house that night.
During my stay at that farmer's home, I asked for a pack of instant noodles. While I ate, I chatted with him, his wife and their eight-year-old boy. I told them that I am 74 years old and they looked at me and he said: “Being of such a great age, how were you able to endure all the hardships during this trip. You look like only fifty to me.” I told them that the reason I look younger is because I practice Falun Gong, and that Falun Gong teaches people the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I also told them about the great changes I experienced both physically and spiritually after I started to practice Falun Gong. After I finished my conversation, he said: “Falun Gong is so good. It doesn't make sense why the CCP persecutes Falun Gong; they are very evil.” He told me that they also wanted to practice Falun Gong and asked me if I had any Falun Gong books with me. With my Mp4 player, I showed them some videos, which contained the truth, and Master's instruction videos of the exercises. The boy watched the videos very carefully, and when he heard the words, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, he kept nodding his head. He watched the videos until very late that night.
Maybe the reason why I had taken the wrong train was to save this family.
I was planning to go to my relative's house in the countryside. After I arrived there, many neighbors came to me and listened to the truth. There was a lady who had just returned from a town nearby. I only talked with her for ten minutes and she agreed to quit the CCP's young pioneers. Afterwards, I taught her the exercises. I gave her the DVDs of Master's lectures and exercises instruction videos, as well as the DVDs of Shen Yun Performing Arts and the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. She took these materials with both of her hands, went back home and spent the entire night watching the videos.
Many of my relative's neighbors understood the truth after I talked to them, and they believed that Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good. It was very interesting that an elderly lady who had made an appointment with me, wanted to come one day in the afternoon in order to watch the truth-clarifying videos, but she didn't make it in time. But that night, despite heavy rain, she came to my relative's house and watched the videos. At that time, another family came and asked me to clarify the truth to them.
There are many other stories about sentient beings who are eager to be saved, and I was deeply touched by them. But I regret that I didn't study the Fa well enough and haven't done enough to save people. In the future, I will study the Fa more diligently, clarify the truth and save more people, thus fulfilling my prehistoric vows.
