(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Huang Weichao, a Falun Dafa practitioner, used to work at the No. 10 Oil Exploitation Factory of the Daqing Petroleum Company. On the afternoon of April 8, 2011, while he was at work, he was illegally arrested and taken to the Wuchang Brainwashing Center in Heilongjiang Province. On April 21, the management where he worked told his family that he had run away from the brainwashing center on April 9. No one knows his current whereabouts.
Mr. Huang worked with the Prep Division at the factory. He was responsible for maintenance. In the afternoon on April 8, his managers told him to work in the cafeteria on the first floor. Around 3 or 4 p.m, Yang Xiaofeng, the head of the “Stabilization Department” (actually the 610 Office) of the factory; Li Guocai, a security person; Sun Changzhi, an officer from the Saertu Police Station; and others all dashed into the cafeteria. Seven or eight of them locked the door and arrested Mr. Huang.
According to witnesses, they covered his head with a piece of plastic cloth. He was handcuffed behind his back. Seven or eight people kicked him, hit him, and threw him into a black jeep. Another car accompanied the jeep.
Mr. Huang's family didn't hear anything about this, and his employer didn't notify them, either. His daughter is in middle school. After school, her father did not come to pick her up. She ran around in tears looking for him and was almost hit by a car. A kindhearted person eventually gave her a ride home. His wife didn't know anything until she called his workplace when he didn't come home. She went to his workplace and asked them to get Mr. Huang back. Li Yanhui is the secretary of the Chinese Communist Party in the Prep Division. Song Xiaoda is the director of the Prep Division. But they both claimed that they had nothing to do with it. They said that those involved were sent by their superiors and that they didn't know anything about it. They told Mr. Huang's wife to go talk to Yang Xiaofeng. Yang admitted that it was he that took Huang Weichao to the brainwashing center. He also said it was “a company decision.”
It was said Mr. Huang managed to run away the day after he was taken to the Wuchang Brainwashing Center. Yet Yang Xiaofeng didn't notify Mr. Huang's family until April 21. His family is very concerned. They are worried that they haven't been told the truth and that something might have happened to Mr. Huang already. They went to talk to the Wuchang Brainwashing Center and the Stabilization Department at the Daqing Petroleum Company. Everyone there claimed that Mr. Huang had run away. When asked how that could have happened, the 610 Office agent said, “Huang Weichao didn't sleep at all that night. There were two people there trying to help 'transform' him. Yet Huang bothered them the whole night. When those two people took a quick nap, Huang ran away.”
Mr. Huang's family asked, “Mr. Huang Weichao didn't commit any crime. Why would you arrest him?” The 610 Office agent said, “We just sent him there to study. It was a class held by a provincial department. He had to attend!” They also claimed that it was to “educate” him. The more Mr. Huang's family learned, the more worried they became. Huang Weichao never fought back or cursed back even when others did that to him. Besides, he had been handcuffed. More than a few at the brainwashing center were assigned to handle him. How could he have bothered them so much that they couldn't go sleep? More than likely they “bothered” him!
Wuchang Brainwashing Center is well known for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. It is very common for them to torture practitioners. They hit them and otherwise torture them. It is even worse than a prison or a forced labor camp. Fu Yanchun is the head of the brainwashing center. He said, “I am a thug. I am an animal.” He killed his wife by just slapping her a few times! Yet he wasn't sentenced. Instead, he has made a lot of money persecuting Falun Gong. Now he is the secretary of the local Politics and Law Committee.
Mr. Huang is about 40 years old. He lived in the First District of Dongfeng New Village in Daqing. Ever since he began to practice Falun Gong, he has strictly followed the principles of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance. He would take any assigned work without any complaint. Those that are familiar with him all said that they could never find anyone as nice as Mr. Huang.
In 2002, Daqing Police Station arrested him when he was at work and had him sentenced to three years of forced labor. Because he didn't pass the physical, he was released. Still, he wasn't allowed to return to work until 2005. He was extraordinary at work and won the Excellence Award in his company.
Then Song Xiaoda got transferred to the factory and became the director of the Prep Division. He always gave Mr. Huang a hard time with the excuse that Mr. Huang had been in a forced labor camp before. He claimed he was carrying out orders from higher authorities. On holidays, especially the long extended holidays, Song would tell Mr. Huang that he had to to work. Even on regular work days, it was very often that Song had Mr. Huang work extra hours. After Song took the position, he was very actively involved in persecuting Mr. Huang. Song reported Mr. Huang to headquarters and threatened him, saying that he would be fired if he refused to be “transformed.” Mr. Huang firmly refused to comply. Song had therefore been planning to send Mr. Huang to the Wuchang Brainwashing Center. In September 2010, Li Yanhui, Song Xiaoda, and the local 610 Office illegally arrested Mr. Huang twice, planning to take him to the Wuchang Brainwashing Center. He managed to run away and had to live away from home to avoid further persecution.
During that time, Song Xiaoda and Li Yanhui threatened Mr. Huang's family, saying that they'd fire him if they didn't cooperate to get him back and have him sent to the Wuchang Brainwashing Center. The family was under huge pressure and tried to reason with the authorities. When Song and Li realized that their original approach wouldn't work, they changed their strategy. In October, Li Yanghui, Song Xiaoda, and Li Jiping from the local 610 Office called Mr. Huang's family to the factory. They asked them to help find Mr. Huang so that he could return to work. They promised that they wouldn't send him to the Wuchang Brainwashing Center, and, if orders came from the higher authorities, they'd notify the family in advance. Mr. Huang's parents and wife believed them. With a lot of effort, they got in touch with him. They never expected what happened.
Over one month has passed. Mr. Huang's parents and his wife haven't heard anything about him and are extremely worried.
