Believing in Master and Dafa is the Prerequisite for Us to Help Master Rectify the Fa

Many practitioners talk about helping Master rectify the Fa. But is what we do truly helping Master rectify the Fa? After I studied Master's new article “What Does it Mean to 'Help Master Rectify the Fa?” my deepest feeling is that we must one hundred percent believe in Master and Dafa. If we can't achieve that, then we can't even begin to talk about “Helping Master rectify the Fa”.

Perhaps all practitioners think that they believe in Master and Dafa. As Fa-rectification has come to this point today, if we say someone does not believe in Master, perhaps that practitioner does not want to admit it. However, many things that we do in everyday life all reflect our not believing in Master and Dafa. Our belief in Master shouldn't be only partial; it must be one hundred percent and unconditional.

When we first entered the door of cultivation practice, Master told us: “we will push you beyond it, making your body reach a state free of any illness.” (Zhuan Falun) But sometimes as soon as we didn't feel good physically, we would begin to wonder if we had an illness.

Master also told us: “with five minutes of sending forth righteous thoughts together, the evil in the Three Realms will never exist again--that's how important this is.” (“Fa-Lecture at the Conference in Florida, U.S.A.” 2001)

But we still have doubts about the power of righteous thoughts, allowing the evil to continue to do evil.

Master said:

“As I've said, everything that happens today in the ordinary society is the result of Dafa disciples' thoughts. Even though the old forces do exist, if you don't have those thoughts they can't do anything.” (“Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A.”)

But we are still attached to the changes in ordinary human society: relying on human rights organizations, being attached to who is going to govern, being attached to time, etc. We did not understand what Master wants, but instead evaluated Master with human thinking, which is a reflection of not believing in Master and Dafa. Not believing in Master and Dafa will not only fail to help Master rectify the Fa, but also create obstacles for Master to rectify the Fa.

In “Teaching the Fa at the Great Lakes Fa Conference in North America” (Guiding the Voyage), Master said:

“What’s most extraordinary about you is that you’re able to keep up with the Fa-rectification.”

Some practitioners said that doing the three things is what is required to keep up with the progress of Fa-rectification. In my opinion, it is certain that a practitioner who keeps up with Fa-rectification will be doing the three things well. However, some practitioners are busy doing things without truly understanding the Fa principles, treating Fa-rectification and saving sentient beings with human thinking and sentimentality. Although they are doing divine things, their thinking is still human thinking, which makes them unable to keep up with Fa-rectification, which makes the things they do not as sacred as they are supposed to be. This is a reflection of their not truly believing in Master and the Fa. Master asks us to put the Fa first in everything we do. However, if we always consider things from the perspective of ourselves or think about things on the basis of our personal cultivation, how can we say that we are helping Master rectify the Fa?

“Of course, when people fail to keep up, there may be many other reasons at work, too. But in every case the person has not managed to really understand Dafa. And of course, when the person’s thoughts aren’t sufficiently righteous, he is bound to waver under persecution.” (“What Does it Mean to 'Help Master Rectify the Fa'?”)

In Fa-rectification, nothing will escape being rectified. Everything in the universe will be repositioned. As a result, everything we do, and every thought we have, should all be based on the perspective of Master's Fa-rectification and saving sentient beings. If we can completely let go of ourselves, that is truly helping Master rectify the Fa and best fulfilling what Master wants.

All behavior that is based on one's notions, one's human thinking, are fundamentally the manifestation of not believing in Master and the Fa. At those times, we aren't helping Master rectify the Fa. There are too many such occasions. Because we have not been believing in Master and the Fa, we can't say that we are truly helping Master rectify the Fa.

Truly Believe in Master and the Fa

After I studied Master's new article, I had some very deep understandings.

We are Dafa disciples, and we are bound to follow and listen to Master. What Master says is the Fa. What Master decides to do, is the requirement of Fa-rectification. As disciples, we can only unconditionally try our best to fulfill what Master wants. If we don't follow Master's requirements, that isn't a minor problem and is certainly following the path arranged by the old forces. The old forces' taking part in Fa-rectification, on the surface, is done in favor of Fa-rectification. But actually, what they've done has severely interfered with Fa-rectification to satisfy their selfish desires. If we don't follow Master and don't do things on the basis of the Fa, but instead emphasize ourselves and our notions, aren't we unconsciously standing on the side of the old forces?

We all should do our best to fulfill what Master wants. This is something we should do unconditionally and cooperate with each other. In my cultivation, I only believe what is published on Minghui.org and do the three things that I should do.

We Should No Longer Understand the Fa with Our Human Notions

In “What Does it Mean to 'Help Master Rectify the Fa'?”, Master said: “Fa-rectification is done only by Master. And even if Master isn’t around, you still must do things on the basis of the Fa”. But how did we do on this issue? I know there are some practitioners in China who do things differently from the Fa. For example, some people are still spreading fake scriptures. Some practitioners found the practitioner who was the assistant before the persecution and made him the main coordinator. When Master talked about listening to the main coordinator, He referred to overseas practitioners, not the practitioners in China. But why did those practitioners come to understand Master's Fa with human thoughts?

In some areas, the practitioners didn't study the Fa enough and have been blindly following the “main coordinator” instead of following Master's Fa. They have created many problems. My fellow practitioners, isn't the coordinator also a cultivator? What is cultivation after all? Aren't we talking about “helping Master rectify the Fa” all the time? We should listen to Master and do things according to the Fa, “Only then are you a Dafa disciple; only then are you Master’s disciple; and only then are you helping Master rectify the Fa.” (“What Does it Mean to 'Help Master Rectify the Fa'?”)

Get Rid of the Notion of Judging Master with Human Thinking

When I first saw Master's new article on Minghui.org, I was very happy. But after I read it several times more, my feelings changed.

I looked within and found many of my stubborn human notions were challenged by the things Master said in the article. I am among those that Master referred to as understanding Master with human notions. As said in the article:

“there are always some students who size up Master’s [plans] with human thinking, forming opinions about how Master should handle some particular matter or thinking about how it would be if Master did it differently, rather than putting their minds to how to best fulfill what Master expressed or how to carry out the specifics;”

I still thought that Master should give an overview of the situation of Dafa disciples' saving sentient beings. I didn't seek anything from Master's family members, nor did I participate in spreading the evil websites. This bad thought kept popping up in my mind.

We don't know how many bad thoughts and human notions Master has rectified and eliminated for us. Thank you Master for your thoughtful care! Master cares about our cultivation and improvement all the time, points to our hearts, arranges things for us to get rid of our human attachments and gives us the best.

I've read this article repeatedly and I've experienced dramatic reactions both physically and mentally. I know it must be an extremely good thing. I've studied the article nearly ten times, and I still don't want to put it down. I want to read it more and enlighten more to the principles in it, to build the most solid foundation of believing in Master and Dafa before I can truly do the three things well.
