(Clearwisdom.net) The Fa-study group I participate in was started in the winter of 2006, and it includes practitioners of different ages, from their teens to their seventies. At most, we were more than a dozen practitioners studying the Fa together, and sometimes there were only two practitioners. Since the founding of this group, we have experienced various kinds of tests, such as xinxing tests and tests on how to cooperate when encountering conflicts of opinions, of different understandings of the Fa, and of different ways to explain the facts about Falun Dafa. Everyone has gradually matured as we worked on studying the Fa well and doing the three things well. I’d like to share the following thoughts with fellow practitioners.
All Dafa Disciples Around the World Are One Body
Since the Shen Yun programs became available, practitioners in my Fa-study group have actively cooperated to widely spread the Shen Yun DVDs. Some practitioners took charge of distributing the materials that introduce Shen Yun. Some practitioners delivered the discs to relatives, friends and colleagues. Some mailed the discs to relatives, and some presented the discs to strangers face to face after discussing the facts about Falun Dafa with them. In order to allow everyone to gain a good understanding of Shen Yun and to learn how to make quality discs, some practitioners printed the Minghui editors’ requirements for making and distributing Shen Yun video discs. We reminded each other to make high quality discs.
Sending forth righteous thoughts at the four regularly scheduled time slots is a form of cooperation among all Dafa disciples around the world. In the past, I didn’t do this well due to my weak righteous thoughts. I didn’t realize that it was actually the evil in other dimensions directly interfering with me and blocking me from sending forth righteous thoughts. After I enlightened to this, I required myself to break through this.
Some practitioners in other Fa-study groups hesitated to use truth-clarifying materials that contained cases from other provinces, but our group thought differently about it. Dafa disciples should unconditionally cooperate to do well the three things regardless of nationality, ethnicity, or region. Our group collected information about cases from all parts of the country, especially the recent reports that exposed the illegal detention and harsh persecution of practitioners in various prisons in different provinces. We thought this would help ordinary people see that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was persecuting good people throughout the country.
Our Fa-Study Group
During these years, we kept up with studying the Fa together regardless of the weather. Once, there was a huge thunderstorm, but I still made it to the group study on time. Since then, as long as I was not working, I joined the Fa-study group, no matter what the weather was like. There was a particular practitioner who was afraid of getting drenched. She once got the opportunity to join our Fa-study group. However, before she left her home, the sky suddenly turned gloomy. She was advised by her family members not to leave, so she didn’t come out. Afterwards, it turned out that it didn’t rain that day. She regretted her decision and realized that her righteous thoughts were not sufficient at that time. Some elderly practitioners read the Fa a little slower than others. The other practitioners would slow down so that everyone read at the same speed. If elderly practitioners didn’t know some words or misread a word, others would kindly remind them and correct it.
Our group also goes out together to distribute informational materials and clarify the truth face to face at variable intervals. Each time, we returned safely under the care of revered Master. Each time after we came back, everyone sat together and shared their experiences, digging out attachments and discussing how to do better next time. Although sometimes only a few group members went out together, those who didn’t join in sent forth righteous thoughts from home, forming a whole body.
Regarding xinxing cultivation, if some practitioner had conflicts with family members or experienced physical tribulations, others would go to the practitioner’s home, send forth righteous thoughts, and clarify the truth to the family members in an ordinary way that they could easily understand.
As for searching inward consistently, we often experienced xinxing tests such as differences in opinion when we went out together to distribute materials. Whenever this happened, we thought of Master’s teachings on cooperation and then let go of self to cooperate with the whole body. Afterwards, we exchanged insights and experiences to figure out how to do better the next time.
I hope fellow practitioners will look at the positive sides of other practitioners, focus on how we study and cultivate, dig out our shortcomings, let go of self, and get rid of attachments. Let’s keep Master’s words, “One’s gong level is as high as one’s xinxing level…” (Zhuan Falun) in mind, truly improve ourselves based on the Fa, and try our best to do well the three things.
