(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 30 cities or counties in 10 provinces. In this report, 9 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 58 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Yu Kaixin and Wife Ms. Tan Shunbi Sentenced

In December 2009, Mr. Yu Kaixin and his wife, Ms. Tan Shunbi, were arrested by officers from Jinsha Police Station for speaking with people about Falun Gong. They were held in Chengdu Detention Center. Later, they were sentenced to two and a half years of prison. Mr. Yu is being held in Deyang Prison and Ms. Tan is being held in Yangmahe Women's Prison in Jianyang City.

2. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Shulian Detained

Ms. Wang Shulian, 58, lives in Wujiazi Village, Jianggezhuang Town, Leting County. She was reported and arrested for speaking to people about Falun Gong on a bus on the afternoon of June 25, 2011. Her home was later ransacked and she is being held in Leting Detention Center.

3. [Shaoyang City, Hunan Province] Mr. Xiao Chongzao and Ms. Shu Minqing Arrested on June 20, 2011

4. [Suizhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Bao Jinfeng Taken to Wuhan Brainwashing Center

Ms. Bao Jinfeng was taken away from work by officers from the local 610 Office and sent to Wuhan Brainwashing Center on June 24, 2011.

5. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Province] Additional Information about Mr. Ding Fadong's Arrest

Mr. Ding Fadong was reported and arrested for handing out DVDs about Falun Gong. He was sentenced to two years of forced labor. It is unknown where he is being held.

6. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Feng Shujun Sent to Hexing Brainwashing Center

Officers from the Guanghan 610 Office and Xiangyang Town Police Station took Mr. Feng Shujun away from home on the morning of June 21, 2011. Mr. Feng was taken to Hexing Brainwashing Center.

7. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ji Xiulan Harassed

Ms. Ji Xiulan was harassed by officers from Xianggong Police Station in Huanggu District in June 2011. She had to leave home to avoid further persecution.

8. [Anqing City, Anhui Province] Ms. Yang Li and Several Practitioners Taken to a Brainwashing Center.

9. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Mr. Jin Jilin Abused in Jiuquan Prison

Mr. Jin Jilin is from Yuzhong County, Lanzhou City, Gansu. In 2009, he resisted the persecution in Lanzhou Prison and was secretly transferred to Jiuquan Prison. While there, he was locked in solitary confinement and monitored by four inmates. He was persecuted with many different methods including sleep deprivation, denied visitation, public humiliation, beatings, and being handcuffed behind his back. He was also subjected to brainwashing and forced to watch videos slandering Falun Gong.

10. [Chongqing] Ms. Chen Dongju Taken to Brainwashing Center

Eight officers from Huangjueya Police Station in Nan'an District arrested Ms. Chen Dongju and took her to a brainwashing facility at Nandi Garden Resort in Nanshan Town, Nan'an District.

11. [Wanquan County, Hebei Province] Mr. Wu Jianmin Arrested

Mr. Wu Jianmin, from Xuanpingbao Village, Xuanpingbao Town, Wanquan County, was arrested by traffic officers on National Road 110 on the evening of June 25, 2011. At around 1:00 a.m., about a dozen officers broke into his home and ransacked it. The police confiscated Dafa books, tapes, CDs and other personal belongings. Mr. Wu's current whereabouts are unknown.

12. [Anqiu City, Shandong Province] Ms. Hui Ruiying Home Ransacked

On the morning of June 27, 2011, Ge Jiang, an officer from Anqiu Police Department, led a group of officers and broke into Ms. Hui Ruiying's home. They ransacked the place and confiscated Dafa books, tapes and other personal belongings.

13. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Jin Min and Her Sister Taken Away

On the afternoon of June 28, 2011, about six officers from Taoyuan Police Station in Erdaojiang District went to Ms. Jin Min's home. They took Ms. Jin and her sister away. The whereabouts of both sisters are unknown.

14. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Yu Wei and Four Other Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Yu Wei, Ms. Gao Yuling, Mr. Xu Jianxin, Ms. Dong Chunli and her husband Mr. Xiao Jingsen were arrested by officers from Kuiwen District and Weicheng District on June 27, 2011. All the homes of practitioners were ransacked. Mr. Yu is being held in Weifang Detention Center.

Mr. Yu Wei served three and a half years of forced labor in 2001 and one year of forced labor in 2008.

15. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Guijun Arrested in Beijing

Ms. Zhang Guijun, 40, is a teacher at the Shenyang Institute of Physical Education. She was arrested for holding up a Falun Gong banner in Beijing on June 11, 2011.

16. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Additional Information about the Arrests of Mr. Liu Honghui and His Sisters and Relatives

Officers from the Jilin City 610 Office, Changyi Police Sub-Bureau and Lianhua Police Station broke into Mr. Liu Honghui's home on the evening of April 27, 2011. The police taped shut the mouths of Mr. Liu and his sister, Ms. Liu Hongyan, and beat them. The police ransacked the place and confiscated a computer, a printer, Dafa books, cash and a deposit book.

The police later arrested Ms. Liu Hongxia (Mr. Liu's sister); Ms. Liu's husband, Mr. Li Guangjun; and her brother-in-law, Mr. Yan Gang. The police beat them with their heads covered. The police also ransacked the place and confiscated a laptop computer, an unknown amount of cash and a deposit book.

Mr. Liu Honghui, Ms. Liu Hongyan, Ms. Liu Hongxia and Mr. Li Guangjun are being held at the Jilin Detention Center.

17. [Qian'an City, Hebei Province] Mr. Chen Zhijun Arrested

Officers from the Domestic Security Division of Qian'an Police Department and Muchangkou Town Police Station arrested Mr. Chen Zhijun on the morning of June 24, 2011. Mr. Chen is being held at the Qian'an Detention Center. The head of the Domestic Security Division extorted 10,000 yuan from his family.

18. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Xue Minghua Detained

Officers from Kuanping Road Police Station waited outside Mr. Xue Minghua's home and arrested him on the afternoon of June 20, 2011. Mr. Xue, 59, is being held at the Weizigou Detention Center.

19. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Thirteen Practitioners Arrested

Thirteen practitioners from Jinzhou District were arrested on the morning of June 29, 2011. Among those arrested were Ms. Li Li, Ms. Li Yue. Mr. Yu Changshun, Mr. Teng Wenzhi. Mr. Li Xin, Mr. Wang Riqing, Mr. Li Dehui, Ms. Wang Hui, Ms. Yang Chunmei, Mr. Teng Wenzhi, Ms. Zhao Shulan. Mr. Yan Shoulin, and Mr. Li Xuan.

20. [Huolinguole City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Zhao Guiyun and Ms. Wang Yan Arrested

Ms. Zhao Guiyun and Ms. Wang Yan were reported and arrested for handing out pamphlets about Falun Gong on the evening of June 25, 2011.The police later ransacked their homes. Ms. Zhao was released the next morning. Ms. Wang is being held at the detention center.

21. [Wanquan County, Hebei Province] Ms. Tian Chunxiang Detained

At noon on June 27, 2011, a group of officers from Anjiabao Town Police Station in Wanquan County broke into Ms. Tian Chunxiang's home and took her away. Ms. Tian is being held in the Kongjiazhuang Town Police Brigade. Her family is not allowed to visit her.

22. [Chongzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Hu Xia Arrested

Officers from the Chongzhou 610 Office, Yangma Police Station and Chongjiang Street Community arrested Ms. Hu Xia on June 29, 2011.

23. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhang Honglong Arrested

Mr. Zhang Honglong, deputy head of Luozhuang District in Linyi, was arrested by officers from Lanshan District Domestic Security Team while handing out pamphlets about Falun Gong on the evening of June 25, 2011. His home was later ransacked.

24. [Xuchang City, Henan Province] Mr. Bai Hongmin and His Wife Ms. Tao Zhili Taken Away from Home

Xu Lina, an officer from Xuchang Police Department, and about nine officers from Nanguan Police Station broke into Mr. Bai Hongmin's home at noon on June 28, 2011. The police ransacked the place and took Mr. Bai and his wife, Ms. Tao Zhili, to Nanguan Police Station.

25. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Yajun Arrested on June 28, 2011

26. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Ma Yongshan Detained

Officers from the Security Division of Kailuan Mining Administration arrested Mr. Ma Yongshan from Guzhi District on the morning of June 28, 2011. The police ransacked his home and confiscated a computer and other personal belongings. Mr. Ma is being held at the Tangshan Detention Center.

27. [Chongqing] More Information about Ms. Zeng Shangjin's Arrest

He Mao, head of Xiejiawan Police Station, gave Ms. Zeng Shangjin, 67, from Yangjiaping in Jiulongpo District, a one-year forced labor sentence. Ms. Zeng was sent to the Shabao Women's Forced Labor Camp.

28. [Tonghua County, Jilin Province] Mr. Liu Renge Arrested

Mr. Liu Renge was arrested on June 28, 2011. He is being held at the Tonghua Police Department. His family is not allowed to visit him.

29. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Deng Xiuyan Sentenced to Four and a Half Years of Prison

Ms. Deng Xiuyan was secretly sentenced to four and a half years of prison by Fengrun District Court on June 28, 2011. She was transferred from Fengrun Detention Center to Shijiazhuang Women's Prison. Her husband, Mr. Zhang Weizhong, is still being held at the Fengrun Detention Center.

31. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wen Yuru and Two Other Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wen Yuru and Ms. Liu Chunwen were reported while speaking with people about Falun Gong on June 29, 2011. Officers from Nanshan Police Station broke into their homes and arrested them. Ms. Liu's niece, Ms. Liu Na, was also arrested. They are being held at the Nanshan Police Station.

32. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Hui Detained

On the early morning of June 29, 2011, officers from Youyi Street Police Station broke into Ms. Wang Hui's home and ransacked it. The police took Ms. Wang and her parents to the police station. Ms. Wang's parents were released at noon. Ms. Wang is being held at the Dalian Detention Center.

33. [Taonan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Ma Liping Arrested

Officers from the local police station arrested Ms. Ma Liping on the afternoon of June 28, 2011. Ms. Ma's home was later ransacked.

34. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Liu Tingyuan Taken to Brainwashing Center

Officers from Xiangyang Town Police Station took Mr. Liu Tingyuan to Hexing Town Brainwashing Center several days ago after Mr. Liu finished one year of forced labor.

35. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zhang Yixiang and His Family Harassed

Personnel from Lichun Town Government and officers from the Pengzhou 610 Office and Lichun Town Police Station went to Mr. Zhang Yixiang's home in Baiguo Village on the evening of June 13, 2011. The police injured Mr. Zhang's brother-in-law, Mr. He Dengfa; and slapped the face of Mr. Zhang's wife over a dozen times. They broke the rolling overhead door and took away Mr. Zhang and his wife's cellphone. Mr. Zhang's father was terrified. He later became ill and was hospitalized. Mr. Zhang had to leave home to avoid further persecution.

36. [Tianjin] More Information about Ms. Li Fenglu's Arrest

Officers from Tianta Street Police Station, the 610 Office and staff from the residential committee arrested Ms. Li Fenglu at noon on June 21, 2011.

37. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Mr. Zhang Yixiang and His Family Harassed

Ms. Xu Chensheng, 46, was an employee of Chenzhou Cigarette Factory. She took a train from Guangzhou to Chenzhou on June 11, 2011. During a train inspection, the conductor found Ms. Xu to be a Falun Gong practitioner and left her in Changsha to be interrogated. Ms. Xu was later sent to a detention center of Changsha Railroad Police Division. Her home was ransacked several days later. The police confiscated Dafa books, more than 20,000 yuan in cash, a deposit book of 3,000 yuan and other personal belongings.

38. [Liaozhong County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Han Yu Detained

On the evening of June 13, 2011, Li Wei, head of the Domestic Security Division of Liaozhong County Police Department, led about a dozen officers to Mr. Han Yu's home in Huajia Village, Liujianfang Town, Liaozhong County. The police secretly took away Mr. Han's driver's license and a MP3 player on the day of his arrest. Mr. Han is being held at the Liaozhong Detention Center.

Practitioners Mr. Zhang Mingwei, Mr. Chen Guotao and Mr. Han Liguo are also being held at the Liaozhong Detention Center.
