(Clearwisdom.net) I was very fortunate to start practicing Falun Dafa in March, 1996. From that day on, every cell of my body has believed in Teacher and the Fa. I have never doubted Teacher, even during the darkest hours of the persecution.
1. Setting Up a Media Production Site at Home
In May 2007, I used a lot of media for truth clarification, so a fellow practitioner suggested, “There are family material production sites everywhere now. The amount of media that you need is just as much as what a large production site makes. Why don’t you set up a site at home? I have a computer and printer from other practitioners that you could use. This way, there will be less demand on practitioners at this media production site, and they could use the time to study the Falun Dafa teachings. In addition, there would be less centralized storage of materials, which is safer.” I thought that his words made a lot of sense, but I didn’t have a computer at home; my child was in high school and my husband had an attachment to fear--would he agree? After thinking about it more, I realized that I was a Dafa practitioner walking a divine path. If I put my heart into it, Teacher would then help, and I was sure that I could run the media production site well; in fact, I was certain of it.
I told my husband about the idea of setting up a materials production site. He was very much against it. He said, “You should think about our child. She is a senior in high school. What if something happens to you? You have been detained twice already. If something happens, this family will fall apart.” I looked at his face and thought, “Everything he said is not from the side of him that understands. The understanding side wouldn't say that; he'll surely help me.” I started sending righteous thoughts, “I am a Dafa practitioner. Everything we do is for saving sentient beings, which is the most righteous activity. Preventing me from setting up a materials production site through my family is not possible.” With this in mind, I sent righteous thoughts for several days.
Soon, my husband was a changed man. He helped me to bring the computer and printer home, and buy paper and supplies. Subsequently, I set up a family-based materials production site. With fellow practitioners' help, I learned how to navigate the Internet, download, and print documents. With Teacher's help, the media production site is running steadily.
2. The Environment Changes as I Cultivate Well
I started cultivation practice when I was 32 years old; now I'm 46. My physical appearance is that of a very young person. Whenever I'm with my daughter, people think that we're sisters.
A few days ago, Ms. Wang, a stationery salesperson, asked me to teach her the Falun Gong exercises. I asked her why she wanted to learn, and she replied, “I want a healthy body and to stay young, of course.” I said, “You cannot get rid of illness and look young just by learning the movements, you have to meet the requirements of our Teacher: becoming selfless and putting others needs before yours, following the principles of the universe: Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.” She asked, “Why does the government suppress such a good practice?” I explained the facts about Falun Gong and the reason for the “three withdrawals” from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.
When we clarify the truth, every word is important. For example, my neighbor Ms. Xu had a numb arm for over half a year. She went to several hospitals, spent several thousand yuan, yet they couldn’t find a cure. The first time I told her to recite, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good”. She said that it didn't help. I looked inward, and thought about what was wrong. Was it because she didn’t recite sincerely? Finally, I understood that the reason was within me. After I told her to recite these words, I said, “Go ahead and try it, it won’t cost you anything if it doesn't work.” These words showed that I wasn't even convinced myself, because I didn't completely believe in Teacher and the Fa. The second time, I said to her: “Ms. Xu, the reason that your arm is still numb has something to do with me. I shouldn't have said, ‘It won’t cost you anything if it doesn't work.’ I am sure that it will work.” She replied, “You are right, don’t say ‘It won't cost you anything’ anymore.” We both smiled. The next morning, Ms. Xu came to me and said, “A miracle, it's a miracle. I am fine now!” She was very emotional. I asked her what had happened, and she explained that her arm wasn't numb anymore. Later, Ms. Xu told me that she even recited “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” in her dreams.
With the Fa-rectification progressing faster, I must cultivate every single thought and not allow the bad things from the world to pollute me. I want to go home with Teacher. I must go home with Teacher.
Teacher said:
“For example, if a bottle filled with dirty things is sealed tightly and thrown into water, it will sink all the way to the bottom. You pour out some of its dirty contents. The more you empty the bottle, the higher it will float in the water. If it is emptied entirely, it will float on the surface completely. In the course of our cultivation practice, you must clean out various bad things in your body so that you can move up. This characteristic of the universe exactly plays this role.” (from Zhuan Falun)
I want go home, but how? I need to take care of my body, the container, by not letting bad things in. When I encounter any situation, I must use divine thinking instead of human notions. I remember the first time that I clarified the truth on the phone. I was very nervous, and it felt as if all the people around me were staring at me because I was doing a bad thing. How could I let this happen? I am a Dafa practitioner doing the most sacred thing--saving people. To those with bad thoughts, if you start helping me now, you'll have a good future. With this righteous thought, people listened to every one of my calls.
