Many Chinese people came out to watch the rally that day. A man in his 50's said, “Though I am not a Falun Gong practitioner, I admire them. Only they dare to speak the truth [about the CCP].” Another Chinese man challenged him, “Where would you be without the CCP?” He replied, “It is the people that keep the CCP alive, not the other way around. I had a pension of 3000 yuan when I was in China, which I earned on my own merits, not because of something the CCP did.”
He continued to say to people around him, “When I was in China, I really believed that Falun Gong practitioners had set themselves on fire in Tiananmen. I did not know that it was a staged act the CCP used to frame and slander Falun Gong until after I came to Korea. This kind of fraud fooled many people.”
“The CCP is like a grasshopper at the end of autumn. Every day of its existence gives the Chinese people another opportunity to see its evil nature. The CCP is rotting from the inside out, and will destroy itself.”

Mr. Li arrived in Korea two months ago, and he quit the Young Pioneers (a youth organization for the CCP) that day. He had heard that in order to persecute Falun Gong, the CCP staged the self-immolation of a group of people on Tiananmen Square. Now that he is in a free country, Mr. Li obtained a lot of information that he could not access in China. He was especially amazed by the wide spread of Falun Gong outside of China.
Stories of Quitting the CCP and Its Organizations
Ms. Xu, who worked as a volunteer at a Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP, attended the rally. She said that a Mr. Jin had called her last week because he wanted to quit the CCP. Mr. Jin used to know a lot of Falun Gong practitioners when he was in China, and knew that the practice was good. He quit the Young Pioneers and told Ms. Xu, “Miss, there are many Chinese people in the company where I work. Please help them quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.”
Ms. Gao has been working at the service desk for helping people quit the CCP in front of the immigration office. One time, a Korean-American told her that he has seen a lot of Falun Gong practitioners in the U.S. telling people the facts about the persecution. He could not believe the extent of the persecution of Falun Gong. “I must do something for you, like going to Congress to speak up for you.” said the man.
Ms. Gao talked about one occasion when she tried to persuade a few Chinese students to quit the CCP. Initially they did not want to listen, because they believed in Marxism. Ms. Gao then told them stories about Marx that shocked them. Eventually, they understood that the CCP is not and cannot represent China, and quit its organizations.
