(Clearwisdom.net) I started practicing Falun Dafa after the persecution began. I felt I was lazy in my cultivation because we did not have a local Fa study group. I only read Zhuan Falun and occasionally clarified the truth. One day my ear suddenly started bleeding. I couldn't hear anything and felt as if there was a train running through my head. It was very loud and extremely painful. I went to the hospital. The doctor said it would cost at least 100,000 yuan and he couldn't guarantee that it would be cured completely. My daughter-in-law stuck out her tongue. I said, “It's OK. We will not pursue further treatment. Let's go home.”
Master didn't abandon me even though I wasn't diligent. We returned home. I studied the Fa every day with determination. I inserted an earphone into my deaf ear and played the recording of the Fa at the highest volume. I couldn't hear it clearly but continued to listen. After the third day my ear stopped bleeding. By the seventh day I could hear it clearly. Afterwards, I went back to the doctor for an examination. He said it was a miracle. I told him that Falun Dafa gave me this blessing. I encouraged them to frequently recite, “Falun Dafa is good!”.
My mother began practicing Falun Dafa before 1999, but stopped when the persecution began. With the encouragement of family members she resumed her practice after a few years. She just turned 84 years old. My mother became deaf due to my father's beatings when she was young. She hadn't been able to hear anything for sixty years. She watched all of us practicing and sending righteous thoughts diligently. Even though she had never learned to read, She insisted on us writing down the formulas for sending righteous thoughts. Because of the pureness of this one thought, she felt that her ear canals open up right away; her ears no longer felt blocked. Within a year and a half, her full sense of hearing was restored. Now she is practicing Falun Dafa with the family.
