(Clearwisdom.net) On August 20, the Service Center for Quitting the Party in Vancouver held a rally in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery, followed by a march supporting the 100 million Chinese citizens who quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.

Ms. Fang from the Service Center for Quitting the CCP gives a speech
Ms. Fang from the Service Center for Quitting the CCP gave a speech at the rally. She announced that as of August 8, 2011, 100 million Chinese people have quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. She said that the growing movement to quit the Party indicates that the CCP's collapse is imminent. Ms. Fang highly praised the courageous citizens who declared their withdrawals.

Ms. Simma Holt, a senior former Canadian Parliament Member, gave a speech at the rally. She was very pleased that so many Chinese people have abandoned the CCP. She also expressed strong support for Falun Gong. After the rally, 80-year-old Ms. Holt joined the march from downtown to Chinatown.

Ms. Sadie Kuehn, chairperson of Friends of Falun Gong, participated in the rally and march. She said that these activities are very important, because they send a message to the CCP: “The persecution of Falun Gong must stop.” She called upon the Canadian government to take more action to support human rights in China.
Ms. Yu, a Falun Gong practitioner, gives a speech
Ms. Yu, a Falun Gong practitioner, has been making phone calls to Chinese people since 2006 to tell them of the CCP's atrocities and encourage them to quit the Party. In the last 5 years, she has convinced more than ten thousand people to quit the Party, including government officials, policemen and ordinary citizens. A mayor of a Chinese city told her: “The CCP is really evil. I am ready to quit, too.” This mayor also convinced eleven family members of his to quit the Party.
After the rally, the attendees held a march, which ended in Chinatown, where they held another rally. The Divine Land Marching Band and the waist drum team, both consisting of Falun Gong practitioners, performed during the march and the rally. Many local citizens and tourists watched the march and the performances.
At the rally in Chinatown, eleven more Chinese people quit the CCP.
