(Clearwisdom.net) The main persecutors of Falun Dafa practitioners in Handan city, Hebei Province are director Niu Shengmin and Wang Yongxiang, the political commissar of the Congtai police department.
These men follow the orders of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to torture Falun Dafa practitioners. They have been following orders issued by Li Guihong (Director of Handan City Police Department) and Wang Jun (former deputy director of Handan City Police Department, who is responsible for persecuting Falun Gong). They have colluded with the local 610 Office to fabricate lies, and connive how to persecute Dafa practitioners. They tortured Chen Yuqing, Yang Xifeng, Liu Haiqin, Li Xiuzhen, Li Jiagong, and Chai Heping to death. Some practitioners were illegally arrested and taken to jail. Many Falun Dafa practitioners were injured to the point of physical disability and suffered extreme mental distress and trauma. Also, they were illegally sent to forced labor camps. Others were forced to get divorced and separate from their families or be killed. Many are still in jail or a forced labor camp.
On July 6, 2011, Gao Meiying, Wu Hongyan and Zeng Zengchen were taken away by policemen from the Congtai Siji Police Station, and remain imprisoned still.
On July 12, 2011, police from the Zhonghua Police Station in the Congtai District arrested six practitioners. They unlawfully extorted a great deal of money from these practitioners while they were incarcerated. Presently, there is still one practitioner who remains in jail. Some persecutors frequently harass Dafa practitioners’ families and disturb their daily lives.
From August 3, 2008 to September 9, 2009, nearly twenty practitioners were arrested in the Congtai district alone. Hou Qiaozhen and Zhang Fengqin were sentenced to prison for three years. Thirteen practitioners were sent to forced labor camps for two years. Hou Qiaozhen, a seventy year old, highly regarded retired teacher, was sentenced to jail for three years. Li Mingtao was sentenced to eleven years. Now he is still detained in Shijiazhuang Prison and has suffered the break-up of his family as a result.
A practitioner named Yang Baochun was an employee of the Handan Jinhang flannel factory. He went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa on September 1, 1999, after the CCP started to persecute Dafa. He was arrested and detained in a forced labor camp in Handan City for two years, where he was subjected to torture. In the winter of 2000, he was not allowed visitation from his family. After he was found practicing Dafa, Yang Baochun was forced to stand in the snow for punishment. Later, when he was returned to his cell, the persecutor bathed his feet in scalding water, causing serious blistering. They knew Yang Baochun could suffer permanent disability as a result of such treatment. They sent him to a hospital, but his condition was already life threatening. It was necessary to amputate his right leg, which has disabled him for life. After less than 2 weeks, even before his stitches were removed, the CCP forced him to Handan Ankang Institution for the insane (in the area of Feixiang) to further persecute him. Wang Yubi, the head of the institution, ordered Feng Yongcai, a nurse, to secretly add a drug to Yang Baochun's food. Yang Baochun experienced severe side effects from the strong substance, which was given to him without his consent. Yang Baochun tried to escape from the torture in the mental institution, but he was under constant observation by the medical personnel. He was dragged along the ground, shocked with an electrical baton and tortured until he was bleeding from his rectum.
In 2004, Yang Baochun was finally released from the Ankang Institution for the insane, but he was not really free. He was monitored 24 hours a day at his factory. In 2005, he was sent to the Ankang Institution again for more than two years.
On February 17, 2008, Yang Baochun, even though he only had one leg, was able to get out of this madhouse which had detained him for three years. Congtai 610 personnel tried to extort ten thousand yuan from Yang Baochun's family for his release, but his family refused to pay them the money. In January 2009, Yang Baochun successfully triumphed over these great difficulties and returned home.
The bureau chief of Handan’s police substation in Congtai, Niu Shengmin, and the political commissar of the Congtai district, Wang Yongxiang, owe an enormous and serious debt for their participation in the horrific persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners.
