(Clearwisdom.net) On March 31, 2011, Ms. Zhang Hongyi was telling people the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong and distributing DVDs near Hongdi Auto Repairs at the #302 bus station on Hailang Road, when Xianfeng Police Station officers arrested her.

Mudanjiang City Police Department's Domestic Security Division Team Captain Yang Danbei went to Xianfeng Police Station specifically to talk to them about how to persecute Ms. Zhang. At 6 p.m., four officers from Xianfeng Police Station, including Zhang Dawei and Song Jianjun, ransacked Ms. Zhang's home and took Dafa books, materials for clarifying the facts about the persecution, two computers that belong to Ms. Zhang's son and daughter, and other personal belongings. At 10 p.m., they attempted to detain Ms. Zhang in Mudanjiang City Xinglong Town First Detention Center. Because of Ms. Zhang's age, the detention center refused to accept her and the police had to send her home.

On April 26, officer Zhang Dawei told Ms. Zhang, her son, and her daughter all to go to the police station. He used the excuse that her daughter's computer had “issues” and held them there until noon to wait for orders from the City Domestic Security Division. In the afternoon, Zhang Dawei and two officers from the Domestic Security Division again ransacked Ms. Zhang's home and took Dafa books and several calendars that had facts about the persecution on them. Then they went to Ms. Zhang's daughter's workplace and confiscated her work computer, which they took to the the City Police Department's cyber team.

On May 24, Ms. Zhang's daughter got her work computer back. The police did not find any “evidence” during their ransacking but neither the City Police Department nor the Xianfeng Police Station offered any explanation.

On July 15, Officer Zhang Dawei again told Ms. Zhang and her daughter to go to the police station and then took them to the Xi'an District Procuratorate. Inspector Liu Xiumei took the case and released them after Ms. Zhang's daughter agreed to vouch for her mother.

On July 25, the Procuratorate's inspector, Gao Lianshun called and told Ms. Zhang to come to the Procuratorate. Gao asked Ms. Zhang about what happened on March 31. Ms. Zhang said that practicing Falun Gong is legal and told him the facts about the persecution.

On August 12, Gao sent the indictment of Ms. Zhang to Xi'an District Court. Chang Xiaohui from the court accepted the case and told Ms. Zhang to wait at home. This is how things stand at present.

In 2002, Ms. Zhang was detained for 15 days for posting materials that exposed the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong. In 2006, Ms. Zhang was even sent to do forced labor despite the fact that she was 67 years old.

Now Ms. Zhang is 72 and is still firm in her faith. She is facing a trial and further persecution.
